But, of course, she didn't stop there. In the seventies of the last century, she made an attempt to organize an underground party in order to fight the communist regime that existed at that time.

Valeria Novodvorskaya's first experience in politics

At 27, she still manages to get an education at the evening faculty at the Regional Pedagogical University in Moscow. Knowing foreign languages well, Novodvorskaya Valeria Ilyinichna worked as a translator for fifteen years, translating specialized literature at a medical institute. During this time, she was charged three times for anti-Soviet propaganda and her indefatigable activities in this direction. During her long work at the MOLGMI library, Novodvorskaya often demonstrated her attitude towardsauthorities. Novodvorskaya was also accused of publicly insulting Mikhail Gorbachev, the President of the USSR. After the collapse of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics, she tried many times to run for the State Duma, but these attempts were unsuccessful. She is an absolute opponent of communism, in her youth she was even called "young anti-Soviet". Valeria Novodvorskaya is very negatively disposed towards both the modern authorities in the Russian Federation and the Soviet authorities, and calls our country a stop-cock that slows down the rest of the world and everything good in it. Giving interviews to other publications, Valeria denies her attitude to liberalism and democracy.
