Nancy graduated from Arizona State University with a bachelor's degree in transportation. In 2001, Governor George Pataki appointed Nancy Shevell to the board of the largest Metropolitan Transportation Authority in New York State.
At 58, he has a remarkable figure. According to Nancy herself, the secret of her beauty is regular physical training. Shevell often plays sports with her husband. Following his example, she became a vegetarian.
Nancy Shevell's personal life
Even in her student years, Nancy met her future husband, lawyer Bruce Blackman. Shortly after the wedding, the couple had a son, Arlene. Nancy Shevell had no more children. In December 2008, Nancy and Bruce divorced. However, by this time their marriage was already in crisis, and the couple lived separately.
On October 9, 2011, 51-year-old Nancy Shevell married 69-year-old musician Paul McCartney.
It was officially known that Nancy and Paul were dating in 2008. The engagement was announced on May 6, 2011. Paul McCartney offered his hand and heart to Nancy Shevell, arranging a romantic dinner, presenting his beloved with a ring from the French Maison Cartier, the value of which is estimated at 650 thousand dollars.
The wedding was held in a narrow circle of relatives and friends: there were 30 people in total. 50 thousand pounds sterling was spent. The celebration took place in the Old Marylebone Town Hall in London, the same place where the first wedding of Paul McCartney and Linda Eastman took place.
