Monument of Military Glory
The main place in the park rightfully belongs to the Monument of Military Glory, which appeared here in 1980. This is a bronze sculpture depicting two figures: a mother woman who carries a banner with one hand and points in the direction from where the enemy came from with the other, as well as a soldier who knelt before her and holds a weapon. The height of the monument is 16 meters. The monument rises high above the park, so it can be seen from many parts of Cheboksary. The creators of the monument were famous Soviet architects A. D. Shcherbakov and G. A. Zakharov.
The sculpture is set on the top of a hill, at the base of which the Eternal Flame never dies out, and fresh flowers and wreaths are constantly lying. It was this sculpture that gave rise to the memorial complex of Victory Park. The Alley of Memory stretches from the hill - two columns of majestic firs. In front of them arecommemorative stones on which the names of those who died on the fronts of the Patriotic War are carved. The beginning of the alley was laid by a native of Chuvashia, the famous cosmonaut No. 3 A. G. Nikolaev.

Every year the Victory Memorial Park expanded and acquired more and more new objects. For example, in 1996, a monument to soldiers who did not return from the war in Chechnya was erected in the park.
