Control and informatics in technical systems is the process of control over complex objects, as well as their algorithmic, informational, hardware and software design and provision.

Automated systems help free a person from performing non-creative work, which is associated with performing many monotonous tasks, but give free rein to creative activity - making decisions on the conduct of the process.
