There are a lot of beautiful places in Russia. It would seem that it is difficult to surprise a person with a beautiful landscape, the majesty of the river. But among them there are places that cling to the very heart and stay there for a long time.

I would like to immediately note that there are two Biryusas. They originate on the slopes of the Dzhuglym Range in the Eastern Sayan, but flow in different directions. Therefore, the question of where the Biryusa River flows into is quite natural. One Biryusa (She), a full-flowing and majestic river, carries its waters along the Siberian plateau and, merging with the Chuna River, forms the Tekeyeva River,which flows into the Angara.

Another Biryusa carries its waters to the great Siberian river - the Yenisei. Bearing the same name, they differ from each other in size and temper. Biryusa (She) is calm, majestic, framed by rocky and flat shores.

Biryusa in the Krasnoyarsk Territory is obstinate and restive, flows among rocky and hard-to-reach shores covered with taiga forest.

Biryusa River (She)

Biryusa (formed from the confluence of two rivers - Bolshaya and Malaya Biryusa) carries its waters through the territory of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, where its source is located, and the Irkutsk Region. Its channel is uneven, it has rifts, rapids, channels, forming islands of various sizes.

130 rivers flow into it, streams that feed it. The shores are covered with mixed taiga, consisting of cedar, pine, birch. Places here are untrodden, deserted. There are no big cities, industrial enterprises on the shores. The largest settlement is the city of Biryusinsk, which is part of the Irkutsk region, several small settlements and towns where the Old Believers live - Shivera, Lugovaya, Ust-Kaitym.

Practically the only way to the impassable upper reaches of the Biryusa goes from Nizhneudinsk station. From here you need to get to Ust-Yaga, where the Biryusa flows. Fishing here is excellent. The rivers are inhabited by fish species typical for these places: lenok, burbot, taimen, grayling. The bite depends on the weather.

A little more about Biryus

The places here are protected, the nature is pristine, the life-giving air is infused with needles. You can meet bears, striped squirrels and other fur-bearing animals. Unforgettable impressions will be brought by the islands covered with bird cherry. Siberian rhubarb grows along the river bank. The rocky shores are overgrown with forests. Since ancient times, cedar fishing has been carried out here, as the locals call it, "bumping".

The length of the Biryusa (She) River is 1024 kilometers. The area of the basin is 34 thousand square kilometers. Biryusa of the Krasnoyarsk Territory is much shorter, its length is about 58 kilometers, the area of \u200b\u200bthe water basin is 800 square kilometers. The rivers are fed by precipitation, snowmelt and tributaries, which each river has quite a lot.

The water here is clean and clear, but at the source of the rivers there are gold mining companies that dump waste slag into clean waters, which makes them muddy. Natural waste quickly settles, and the river rolls its clean waters further.
