It can reach a diameter of 2 cm and a height of 16 cm. Purple cobweb mushroom has a rather exotic and colorful appearance. Photos of it are presented in this article.
Habitat
Spiderweb is a mushroom that can grow in small groups, but, as a rule, it settles one by one. Due to the fact that the purple bog has a rather low yield and bears fruit irregularly, it was included in the Red Book of the Russian Federation. This macromycete can grow only under strictly defined weather and climatic conditions. It is mycorrhizal. The purple cobweb has a symbiotic relationship with various tree species, both deciduous and coniferous (birch, beech, pine, oak, spruce, hornbeam). Therefore, the swamp can be found in forests of almost all types, but most often it is found in birch forests. Cobweb is a mushroom that bears fruit from August to October. Macromycete prefers to settle on acidic humus soils. It can also be found on mossy substrates near sphagnum bogs. This macromycete is found in European countries, in the Russian Federation, in New Guinea and North America.
Twins
On othersvarieties of cobwebs, this fungus is rarely similar. But there are also exceptions. You can confuse it with a goat web, which is inedible, but not at all dangerous to he alth. This mushroom can be found in coniferous forests and in the foothills. It has a strong and pungent odor. Another fat woman in appearance sometimes resembles an inedible camphor cobweb. At a young age, the mushroom can also be confused with the purple row (edible).
