Very often in the speech of a Russian person the phrase "mother nature" is used. And what does it mean? What is its important meaning?
Diversity of living life on the planet
A huge number of living beings live on our planet: animals, plants, microbes and bacteria. They are all creations of nature. Her children, to put it bluntly. Therefore, it is often said that nature is the mother of all life on the planet.
Today there are several versions of the appearance of life on Earth, starting from the creation of the planet itself with the creatures and plants inhabiting it by the Creator and ending with the resettlement of aliens on it. But the finds of archaeologists constantly prove that ancient creatures were very different from modern ones. And many have completely disappeared, giving rise to life for other species and even families. Therefore, they were created by mother nature in the truest sense of the word. After all, only a mother can give birth to living beings.
Nature-nurse
But producing is only the beginning. Every parent must also feed their child. And by analogy with living beings, mother nature also feeds both animals and plants.
Trees, grasses, shrubs would not be able to grow if it had not rained, notSun was shining. And all this gives to its creations mother nature. Man, like many animals from the herbivore clan, eats the fruits of plant origin, and the plant mass itself too.
Another part of the animal kingdom, being carnivorous or omnivorous, eats differently. Predators attack the smaller inhabitants of the planet and eat them. A person belonging to the group of omnivores can also diversify his table with dishes containing proteins and animal fats. And all this is provided by nature. Although, speaking about plants and products made from them, we often say words of gratitude specifically to the earth, calling her both mother and nurse, forgetting that in addition to soil, plants need rainfall, sunlight, warmth, and air to grow.
Progress and nature
Today man is actively changing the face of the Earth. For example, he builds power plants on the rivers. Turbines destroy a huge number of fish, disrupt the lives of many animal species.
In the cities, people are building plants and factories. Waste products are thrown into the air, merge into rivers. By doing this, people also cause irreparable damage to nature.
Megacities are growing, capturing more and more space and crashing into forest areas. Roads are being laid through the taiga, along which transport begins to move.
It's all called progress. It is impossible to live without electricity, without transport communications. And people also need housing. Although the harm caused by plants and factories can be minimized. But thisrequires huge financial outlays. Therefore, a person often does not think about what he will leave on Earth after himself, taking advantage of momentary benefits.
Science Killers
If one can somehow understand and explain the construction of factories and factories, cities and power plants, then experiments with nuclear weapons are not at all accessible to common sense. How can you experience it in nature?
Very terrible things happened as a result of such experiments. Ugly animals began to appear, plants bearing enormous fruits, and incurable diseases appeared in people. How many living beings (including people) died, the media is silent.
Terrible discoveries, applied in practice, were chemical additives in animal feed. They also changed the DNA of many of them. It is not a fact that no harm was done to people who were forced to eat the meat of these animals.
The destroyers of nature - shame and universal censure
And how much harm do poachers and tourists do to our planet if they do not follow the most important rules of behavior in forests and near water bodies? To date, many species of animals and plants have been exterminated, and some are listed in the Red Book.
Lovers of outdoor recreation often leave household garbage behind, which not only spoils the beauty of the forest or the coast of a reservoir, but also harms animals. Splinters from bottles injure the paws of animals. It is not uncommon for bears or foxes, attracted by the smell of food, to stick their heads into abandoned jars and get stuck in them. And others were destined for a painfuldeath after they chewed on a plastic bag.
It is for such negligent and short-sighted lovers of rest in the forest that posters are placed at the entrance to the forest, saying: “Take care of mother nature!”, “Left behind garbage in the forest - do not forget to grunt!” and others.
Fiction and Nature
Some readers complain about writers who pay a lot of attention to descriptions of the world around them. The rhythm of life today has taught people to rush all the time so much that many simply do not see the beauty around them. And spending time reading descriptive texts seems blasphemous to them.
In fact, such people rob themselves a lot. After all, scientists have already proven that positive emotions received from contemplating the beauties of nature help to get rid of stress, cure many diseases. And if there is no opportunity to visit beautiful places far from civilization and cities chained in asph alt, then such descriptions are their replacement. In other words, our nature is a caring mother, who not only gives birth and feeds, but also heals bodily ailments. She heals the souls of people.
“The air was so juicy, so unimaginably delicious that I wanted to breathe and breathe! It seemed to saturate the whole body with vigor and strength. And then I suddenly heard a small fraction. So this is how, it turns out, a woodpecker knocks on a tree! And then my ears were struck by the trill of a bird. She rushed from somewhere above, tender, flooding, so defenselessly happy! And the heart began to be filled with something just as happy, pleasant and peaceful. I raised my eyes to the sky andI could hardly make out a small, high-flying bird. So that's what you are, a lark…”
Poems about nature
In poetry, mother nature is described even more vividly and more figuratively. The poems of talented poets fascinate and make you imbued with feelings of delight and joy from the feeling that you also live on this beautiful planet, that you are also a part of it. Many of them have been set to music, for example Yesenin's works.
But one should not think that modern authors do not care about this topic. And they love her and know how to write wonderful works dedicated to the beauty of nature and its problems. An example of such poetry is "Protect Nature" by Yulia Paramonenko.
I'm in the scorching summer heat
I'll enter the cool forest, So this is the real one
The world of fairy tales and miracles.
I will find a cold spring, I will drink its water
And sedately, nobly
I will go my own way.
Nature gives bliss
And gives strength, Oh, I would like free birds
Feel the flight!
Nature is a muse, It must be protected, The responsibility of the load
Don't let go!
