The exhibition titled "Russia - My History", deployed in Pavilion No. 57 of VDNKh, is an integral part of a large Russian exhibition project. It is dedicated to the history of the country, from ancient times to the present. The idea of the project belongs to the Russian Orthodox Church, namely the Secretary of the Patriarchal Council, Bishop Tikhon (Shevkunov). Project history

Initially, the project began to be implemented in 2013. Then, a multimedia exposition was opened in the building of the Moscow Manege, which presented a number of key moments in Russian history. Representatives of various fields of science and technology took part in the creation of the exhibition. The main burden fell on historians, artists, filmmakers, designers, computer graphics specialists. Almost all types of information media were involved, namely: touch screens and tables, modern comfortable cinema halls, collages, light boxes, projectors, all types of computers.

Innovative techniques of animation, infographics, digital reconstructions, multidimensional modeling were implemented in creating the expositions of the Museum of the History of Russia at VDNKh.

The historical park in pavilion No. 57 is aimed at a wide range of people, but first of all - at young students. The Museum of the History of Russia at VDNKh is not only an exposition, but also a platform on which other projects are being implemented, mainly related to the history of the country. This building dates back to 1967, when architects V. Dokotorovich, V. Z altsman, I. Vinogradsky designed the building to host the VDNH exhibition "Consumer Goods of the USSR".

The pavilion received a second life after the collapse of the USSR in the 2000s, when a permanent agro-industrial exhibition called "Golden Autumn" was organized in it.

The pavilion, the future Museum of the History of Russia at VDNKh, was subjected to a major reconstruction from spring to the end of 2015. It made it possible to turn the building into a unique exposition site that met the highest international museum and exhibition requirements. Builders and architects managed to preserve the historical appearance of the pavilion, popularly referred to as "glass". But at the same time, it turned out to increase the area of \u200b\u200bthe premises inside the building to almost 28,000 square meters. During the restoration of the pavilion, the roof of the building was completely replaced. As well as ceilings and glazing.

By making changes to the structure of the building in the form of a mezzanine superstructure, it was possible to create a second floor. This led to an increase in the total area of the structure.

In December 2015, a permanent historical exhibition "Russia - My History" was opened in the pavilion. Its operator is the Russian Foundation for Humanitarian Projects.

Each hall of the exhibition of the history of Russia at VDNKh has scenery and interactive panoramas. A so-called living historical tape with a total length of 270 m has been created along the route of movement of visitors.

The creators of the historical park managed to effectively combine a variety of interactive solutions. They are represented by interesting historical games, touch screens, projectors. Their total number is more than 1000 units. Their main purpose is to create digital reconstructions in three-dimensional modeling.

Eminent historians, representatives of the Institute of History of the Russian Academy of Sciences, historical departments of Moscow State University, Russian State Humanitarian University were involved in the creation of expositions of the Museum of the History of Russia at VDNKh (pavilion 57). Documentary data, exclusive materials were transferred to the historical park not only by the State Archives of Russia, but also by the archives of the Russian Defense Ministry, the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation, the State Central Museum of History.

Currently, the Museum of the History of Russia at VDNKh has four main expositions. They are called "Rurikovichs", "Romanovs", "1914 - 1945: From upheavals to the GreatVictory", "Russia - my history: 1945 - 2018".

  • Perm. The exhibition opened in December 2017. Located in two buildings: at the old railway station and the river station;
  • Yakutsk. The historical park opened in October 2017. The museum has 58 halls in which it was possible to closely intertwine the history of Yakutia and Russia, which was achieved with the help of successfulvideo projections.
  • Makhachkala. The museum was opened on October 19, 2017 in an exhibition complex with an area of more than 13,000 square meters. m. It consists of four halls, similar in content to the Museum of the History of Russia at VDNKh, and the fifth hall dedicated to regional history. Called "My Dagestan", equipped with advanced technology, allows you to get a detailed picture of the life of this southern region of Russia.
  • Kazan. The Museum of the History of Russia was opened in the capital of Tatarstan on October 27, 2017 on the territory of the Kazan Fair Exhibition Center. Covers an area of over 5000 sq. m. Supplemented with information on the history of Tatarstan, revealing the rich cultural heritage of the republic.
  • Tyumen. Located in the former Museum of Fine Arts. Opened November 1, 2017. The total area is almost 7000 sq. m. It differs in that it is the world's first fully multimedia project created on the basis of advanced information technologies. The exhibition is provided by 40 halls equipped with 204 touchscreens and 300 projectors. The museum has 25 architectural solutions, six interactive books and a large domed cinema.

  • Nizhny Novgorod. Location - the territory of the fair, in the building of the "Fair House". This interactive museum focuses on the unique history of the city, which begins with the ancient Finno-Ugric peoples;
  • Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk. It is located in a historical place, next to the Church of the Nativity of Christ and the Pobeda museum complex. All this forms an architecturalensemble. Area - more than 6000 sq. m. The exhibition has a unique, the only one on Sakhalin 12-meter dome cinema.
  • Samara. Opened November 7, 2017. The area of the museum is about 6000 sq. m. Location - shopping center "Good". The interactive exhibition is complemented by the history of the region. It is notable for the fact that it has a unique multimedia book recreating the first manuscript of Samara, which dates back to the first half of the 17th century.
  • Omsk. The historical park dates back to November 15, 2017. It is located in the left-bank district of the city, in the Expocentre building. The area of the museum is more than 7000 sq. m. Has a comfortable conference room. It is assigned the status of a budgetary institution - "Omsk Museum of Education".
  • St. Petersburg. The museum opened in early December 2017. Located in the Moscow region, metro station "Park Pobedy". The total area of the interactive exhibition is more than 10,000 sq. m. The museum has a very interesting exposition, equipped with modern and advanced interactive technology, dedicated to the history of the Northern capital.
  • Saratov. The interactive museum "Russia - my history" is located on the Ilyinskaya square of the city. Opened mid-September 2018.
  • Rostov-on-Don. The museum is located in the central part of the city, in the park named after Ostrovsky. The multimedia complex was opened on October 14, 2018. Area - about 9000 sq. m.
  • Krasnodar. The museum dates back to November 4, 2018, it was opened on National Unity Day. Its area is about 7000 sq. m. The equipment of the museum is considered one of the mostadvanced.
