Kelly McGrill is an American actress who is currently not very popular. An interesting fact is that she played a role in one of the films of Russian cinema. It was Mary Star, a super agent of the Central Intelligence Agency, and the film was called Good Weather on Deribasovskaya (1992), which was filmed directly in America itself.

Kelly McGrill was educated at the New York City Theater Arts School. She currently resides in New Jersey, USA.

The role she played in the film directed by Russian director Leonid Gaidai is the only one in her acting career. Nevertheless, she is recognized as quite successful.

However, his candidacy turned out to be doubtful, many were sure that after the filming of the film, the actor would not return from the United States. Because of this, the director entrusted the role to Dmitry Kharatyan, with whom he did an excellent job.

In the case of Kelly McGrill, there were also difficulties in choosing. As it turned out, the American actress, musician and model Milla Jovovich claimed the role of an experienced CIA agent. However, she did not receive it. As Leonid Iovich Gaidai himself later spoke about this: "There were too many Iovichs for this film," focusing on the names of the actress. Thus, Marie Star played Kelly McGrill brilliantly.
