Valery Shalnykh is a famous Soviet and Russian theater and film actor, the husband of the no less famous Russian beauty Elena Yakovleva, who devoted most of his life to one theater - Sovremennik. Valery is an actor who can reveal himself in completely different roles.

Valery Aleksandrovich was born on 1956-08-04 in the city of Sverdlovsk (now Yekaterinburg). His childhood was very difficult.

Valery's mother, Alexandra Ivanovna, worked at a defense plant. The father had problems with alcohol, and he left the family when the boy was 8 years old. The mother had to raise the child alone, they lived very poorly.

Mom was very worried that Valery from such a life would grow up as a bully or follow in his father's footsteps. Therefore, she figured out how to take the boy - she gave him to the drama club at the factory. He really liked to play on stage, which determined the further fate of the boy.

After graduation, the aspiring actor Valery Shalnyh became an actor in the Sovremennik Theater, where he was involved in a large number of roles. He devoted thirty-four years to this theatre. In June 2011, Valery left the Sovremennik theater stage with his wife.

In 1977, Valery first appeared in the cinema - he played small roles in two films "I want to be a minister" and "Isotope Cafe".

Three years later, the actor got his first major film role, in the comedy "Flight with an Astronaut".

Then he was mainly involved in films in minor roles. In the 2000s, he began to appear in television series.

The first time the actor married in 1979 to the theater critic Elena Levikova, but, unfortunately, this marriage lasted only three years.

A year after the divorce, Valery Shalnykh married a second time, to a woman named Natalya, who worked as an accountant at the Sovremennik Theater. This marriage also turned out to be short-lived, lasting only two years, but the couple had a daughter, Catherine, in 1984. Now she is an adult, accomplished woman, she gave the actor a grandson - Nikita.

For the third time, the actor married the famous Soviet and Russian actress Elena Yakovleva. When they met, both were still married, although they no longer lived withtheir spouses.

The romance broke out when they were both in Irkutsk on tour. They lasted about a month, and therefore, the actors had enough time to get to know each other well.

The whole troupe stayed at the same hotel, every evening they gathered in someone's room, chatted, drank. Valery Shalnykh immediately noted Yakovlev, she seemed to him a very beautiful and talented girl. The actor began to care for Elena, and a month later they realized that they could not live without each other.

In 1992, the couple had a son, Denis. He also had the makings of an actor, he even studied at the directing department, but did not finish. Now he is engaged in bodybuilding, his body is 70 percent covered with tattoos. In 2017, Denis married a girl named Victoria.
