In November 2014, Alexander Plushev was fired from the Ekho Moskvy radio station for publishing a very incorrect post on his Twitter about the death of Vnesheconombank deputy chairman Alexander Ivanov, who, in turn, is the son of Head of the Administration of the President of the Russian Federation - Sergey Ivanov.

A few hours after the "evil" tweet appeared, Plyushchev deleted it and apologized for his incorrectness.

On November 6, Alexander was fired from the radio station "Echo of Moscow" on the orders of Mikhail Lesin, who is the chairman of the board of directors of Gazprom-Media. The editor-in-chief of the radio station Alexei Venediktov did not know about this, so he decided to challenge this decision in court.

November 20, Venediktov and Lesin came to an agreement and the dismissal order was canceled.
