So, back in 384 BC, in a settlement that was located on the territory of ancient Macedonia, the future world-famous philosopher Aristotle was born in the family of an ancient Greek doctor. At the age of 15, orphaned, he was left all alone. However, his uncle soon became his guardian. It was he who introduced Aristotle to the activities of Plato, who at that time worked as a teacher in Athens. Gradually, this person becomes the idol of the future philosopher, and just 3 years later, Aristotle entered the Academy, where Plato worked. Aristotle's discoveries and his advances in science did not go unnoticed. After some time, he began to teach at the Academy himself.

Further destiny

After the death of Plato, in 347year BC e., Aristotle moved to Altarei. There he was invited to the post of educator of the son of King Philip, whose name was Alexander of Macedon. For several years, Aristotle gave lessons to the royal heir. However, in 339, his work in this family ended - the king died, and Alexander no longer needed education. Therefore, the philosopher decided to return back to Athens.

Now Aristotle's life was completely different. He returned famous, respected and popular. Here he opened his own school, which he called "Likeya". The training there was somewhat unusual - Aristotle taught metaphysics, physics and dialectics, walking in his garden.

A few years later, in 323 BC. e., he left Athens and settled in another small and quiet town in Greece. There, a year later, at the age of 62, the world-famous philosopher Aristotle died of a stomach disease. 1. For example, it is known that he had a wife named Pythiades. Soon a daughter was born in their family, who was named after her mother.
2. And when his son was born, he called him Nicomachus. As a result of a sad combination of circumstances, the guy died in his youth, and after many years, Aristotle names his collection of lectures after him. By the way, the father of the Greek philosopher was also called Nicomachus.
3. Aristotle had two mistresses: Palefatus and Herpilis, the latter of whom was his motherson.
4. Subjects that the polymath loved most: biology, zoology and astrology.
5. Fields in which the philosopher has made the most contributions are mathematics, ethics, logic, music, poetry, politics and theatre.
