In the Moscow region there is a small town Voskresensk. A little more than 94 thousand people live here. Despite its small size, the city has a well-developed social infrastructure. There is the Sports Palace "Podmoskovye", which is the home arena of the hockey club "Khimik". Maestro Jazz team works within the walls of the Palace of Culture,performing not only jazz compositions, but also pop and dance compositions. There is also a veterans choir that has been operating since 1993. This is a constant participant in all events held in the Palace. There is also a pop group "Panorama", which has been operating since 1980. A folk vocal group (academic) operates on a permanent basis.

Why the name of Doktorov N. I.?
This man posthumously received the title of Honorary Citizen of Voskresensk. Here he died in 1985, having managed to do a lot of good for the village and its inhabitants. A street was named in his memory and a monument was erected in the park near the Khimik recreation center in Voskresensk.
In the city of Doctors N. I. got during the Second World War. Then his knowledge was required at a chemical plant. It was his experience that made it possible to produce products for the needs of the front. After the war, after sometime, Nikolai became the director of that same chemical enterprise. During the 30 years that he served as leader, the city has changed almost beyond recognition. New housing, kindergartens, hospitals and schools, an educational and consulting center have appeared.
In 1957, the majestic building of the Khimik Palace of Culture was erected in Voskresensk, in 2007 it received the name of Doktorov N. I.

Today, the Khimik Palace of Culture in Voskresensk is a modern venue for interesting and unforgettable events.
So, on December 15 of this year, the metronome jazz club is coming to the Palace. By the way, most of the club members are students of Spartak Chubarev, a native of Voskresensk.
On December 16, the show “Heroes in Masks” will start for children at 12:00. This is a theatrical circus and costume performance. There will definitely be draws and interactive games.
December 28 and 30, 2017, the Khimik Palace of Culture in Voskresensk invites everyone to a New Year's performance.
Activities for next year
