By the time the Green Lake floods, the lawns of the park have time to overgrow with alpine greenery. As a result, its waters have a rich emerald hue: it gave the name to the reservoir. Moreover, the water is so clear that the lake is visible to the very bottom and from coast to coast.

Such a wonderful phenomenon attracts the attention of divers from all over the world. Until the end of July, when the waters begin to subside, scuba divers come to Green Lake, who want to swim and sit under a tree on a bench, watching the fish swim by. There is a dive center that rents diving equipment. True, there is no diving school, so a certificate is required from divers.
