The total per capita is 9,816 rubles, for the able-bodied - 10,412 rubles, for pensioners - 7,941 rubles, for children the subsistence minimum was increased most of all - by 302 rubles, amounting to 10,413 rubles. It is believed that pensioners need the least amount of money to survive.

To calculate the amount of social supplements from the federal budget, a living wage is set once a year for pensioners in Rostov-on-Don. In 2018, it is set at 8,488 rubles. Last year, the figure was at the same level.

Additional paymentis established if the pensioner has an income less than the subsistence minimum for pensioners in the region. In the past, the average amount of such payments in the city was about 1,900 rubles per month.
