Museum of Nature and Ecology in Minsk is a rather young museum. In 1983In 1998, the Department of Nature of the State Museum of the Byelorussian Soviet Socialist Republic was created. It was a small exposition dedicated to the nature of Belarus. Gradually, the collection of the museum, exhibits became more and more. Therefore, in 1992, it was decided to reform the department of nature into an independent State Museum of Nature and Ecology of the Republic of Belarus.
