The fact that there are more and more supporters of the ancient, so-called pagan religions, does not at all mean that part of the population of our country consciously rejects Christianity - not at all. He is the patron of blacksmithing, marriage, hunters, and oaths. Translated from the ancient Indian language of Sanskrit, Svarog means "walking in the sky", or Heavenly Father. In addition, he is the husband of the main goddess Lada, and this already resembles Zeus. The myths and legends of ancient Greece are known to many, but the legends about Svarog are not, although they are very beautiful, and the names in them are pleasing to the Russian ear … For example, the Alatyr stone, which turns into a white-combustible stone. It was from him that our main god made the Earth and gave, like Prometheus, fire to people, therefore Svarog Square personifies a hearth with four flames. He taught our ancestors to cookfood, moreover, the preparation of cottage cheese from milk - these are also his lessons. And, which none of the famous gods of other peoples did, Svarog threw a plow, a yoke, a battle ax and a bowl for making a magic drink in it to the ground. Here is a father so a father!

The beauty of domestic legends

Svarogov Square is not the only memory of him, we still have the word "bung" in our lexicon. And although it is claimed that it means to create something magically, most often this word is used when they want to characterize something that was not done very well, but quickly. There was another name - Bel-Alabyr, and it towered over the Belaya River, which flows next to the White City, in which, naturally, the White Mountains lived. Everything was white - either covered with snow, or the snow-white stone Alatyr shone. Since it is Svarog who is credited with the beginning of the Iron Age on Earth, any forge, any anvil withhammer, and sacrifices, or trebs, to the demiurge god (artisan, creator, master) usually consist of cheesecakes or cottage cheese. The celebration of Svarog falls on November 14, on the day of Kuzma and Demyan, father and son (the holiday of art forging masters).
