Ryan John Seacrest is an American radio and television presenter and producer. He is best known as the host of American Idol and the morning radio show KIIS-FM On Air with Ryan Seacrest. He also co-hosted and executive produced Rock New Year's with Dick Clark along with Dick Clark. Since 2017, he has been broadcasting Live with Kelly and Ryan.

Biography

Ryan Seacrest was born December 24, 1974 in Atlanta, Georgia. His mother Constance Marie is a housewife and his father Gary Lee Seacrest is a real estate lawyer. According to Ryan's mother, he held a microphone in his hands from childhood, while the rest of the guys played Indians.

Education and professional first experience

He attended Dunwoody High School from the age of 14. Two years later, he won an internship at one of the best radio stations - WSTR (FM) in Atlanta. He was taughtpopular radio host Tom Sullivan, through whom Ryan learned many aspects of radio.

In 1992, Seacrest graduated from high school while continuing to work in radio. In the same year, he entered the University of Georgia in the journalism department. At 19, Ryan left him and moved to Hollywood to continue his career.

In 2016, he was awarded an "Honorary Doctor of Humane Letters" from the University of Georgia and delivered the commencement speech at the graduation ceremony.
