Irina Igorevna Gubanova is a Soviet and Russian actress who starred in more than 30 films. For a long time she was an artist of the Moscow Theater-Studio of a film actor, worked on NTV, NTV + and in the AV-video company, duplicating characters in foreign films, mainly in serials.

Irina Gubanova was born in Leningrad on the eve of the war. She and her mother spent the evacuation in the city of Orsk, in the Urals. And after the war, everyone returned to their native Leningrad. A little about love

Big cinema and big love came to Irina almost simultaneously. At the film studio, she met her future husband, Sergei Gurzo.

By this time he had already starred in the "Young Guard", where he played the role of Sergei Tyulenin, which instantly made him an all-Union celebrity. Such a rapid take-off was not in vain for the actor's psyche, as is often the case. Each admirer of his talent, according to Russian custom, considered it his duty to treat his idol with a drink, he himself made a return gesture, and so on - according to a well-known scheme.

Ironically, Sergei Gurzo's father was a well-known narcologist, but even he failed to persuade his son to begin treatment for alcohol addiction. The former wife, Nadezhda Samsonova, also did not recognize his illness, calling it "domestic drunkenness" and defending her husband's reputation in every possible way out of respect for his talent.

As a result, Gurzo was fired from the Film Actor Theatre, his wife deprived him of his residence permit, and he was forced to move from Moscow to Leningrad to try to change his life. Rising star Irina Gubanova breathed into him hope for a change in fate. She took his name instead, becoming for some time Iraida Gurzo. A year later, their daughter Anna was born, but the family lasted only about seven years (again, this is an “unlucky number”).

Irina Gubanova - an actress with character

The film-opera "The Queen of Spades" was released in 1960, and from thatmoment begins the countdown of the artistic career of Irina Gubanova-Gurzo. The role of Polina, wonderfully played by the actress, attracted the attention of the directors, and the role of pampered and sophisticated aristocrats, princesses and ladies with an alien, "foreign" psychology was assigned to her.

However, in 1963, Irina Gubanova was able to show her talent from the other side. In the film by I. Annensky "The First Trolleybus" she played the charming and feminine Svetlana Soboleva, who did not want to get an education and get married. Instead, she decided to become a trolleybus driver and found her true calling in this profession.

The heroines of Gubanova often, distinguished by their outward effeminacy and sublimity, actually showed a strong character or even a certain “devilry”. This is Masha Dontsova in The Green Carriage, and Elsa from The Snow Queen, and a number of other images.

Big luck

The audience remembered the role of the silent Sonya, which Irina Gubanova brilliantly played in the film "War and Peace" - an epic created by S. Bondarchuk (1965-1967). She managed to reveal the complex nature of the girl, forced to be on the sidelines and consciously accepting the role of the victim.

The actress could also show herself in a comedic way: for example, in L. Kvinikhidze's musical film "Heavenly Swallows" (1976), she was magnificent in the role of Mother Carolina, the abbess of a boarding school for noble maidens. Next to her was a truly stellar company of actors with whom she feltthemselves "on an equal footing": Lyudmila Gurchenko, Andrey Mironov, Alexander Shirvindt and others.

But no matter who Irina Gubanova played, films with her participation were usually remembered by the audience. However, gradually the roles she played became less and less, the breaks between films became longer. But she always tried to express the very essence of the images that the directors entrusted to her. And this is on condition that Irina did not have a special education.

Very personal

Having parted with Sergei Gurzo, Irina Gubanova soon remarried. Her chosen one was A. Kh. Arshansky, who worked in the field of film management. In 1978, he was appointed chairman of Sovinfilm, and Irina moved to Moscow with her husband. The daughter of Irina Gubanova stayed with her mother in Leningrad.

In Moscow, Irina Igorevna got a job at the Theater-Studio of a film actor, having worked there until the early 1990s. At the same time, she was engaged in voicing roles on television. The tension was aggravated by the fact that I had to take care of the second half of the family that remained in Leningrad.

Soon, the actress was diagnosed with cancer. However, this news did not break a strong woman - she continued to work on television, casting her voice to a variety of heroines, as if living with them other life options. In addition, she took part in the dubbing of the Cold War documentary series, which became her last film. On April 15, 2000, the actress passed away.
