In the film "Beyond the last line" the actor played the role of a corrupt police captain Kostikov. Alexander Kazakov perfectly revealed the negative image, the opposite of the image of the main character of the picture, performed by Evgeny Sidikhin. The famous boxer, who was thrown out of life, has to contact a gang of criminals, which includes a corrupt captain. But there is always an invisible linewhich a true hero cannot cross. From 2000 to 2013, Alexander Kazakov, as an actor, starred in more than 20 films, including TV shows. In 2007, another of his directorial works was released - the film "Special Purpose Prison", where Alexander also played one of the roles. The last work of the artist in the cinema was the film "Two Winters and Three Summers", released in 2013.
He constantly played in the Taganka Theater, took part together with Vsevolod Abdulov and Yanklovich in programs dedicated to the memory of Vladimir Vysotsky, and read his poems. And six months later, a talented actor, director, screenwriter, bard and TV presenter Alexander Kazakov passed away.
Alexander Ivanovich Kazakov died on June 15, 2013 in Balashikha, Moscow Region. At that time he was a little over 71 years old. The actor was buried at the Arsk cemetery in Kazan, next to his mother and family.
