Christian Siriano, future designer, was born November 18, 1985 in Annapolis, and grew up in Maryland with his mother and sister, since his parents separated when he was 4 years old. But the father continued to take part in the upbringing of his son. The boy developed an interest in art early, he studied ballet for a while, then he became interested in theater. But, most likely, not so much the theater as the creation of costumes for artists.

Years of study

Next Christian Siriano studies at the B altimore School of Art, choosing fashion design as a course of study, and learns there the basics of shapes and proportions. An attempt to enter the Institute of Fashion and Technology was not successful. Cyrano goes to London, where he enters the American Intercontinental University. First victories

After graduating,moves to New York and works as a make-up artist and provides services to private clients in tailoring wedding dresses. When Christian was invited to participate in show fashion, the Podium project and he was chosen as a participant, the young man's joy knew no bounds. After winning four rounds, he gets to the final. In March 2008, he became the youngest ever winner with a $100,000 prize pool and a $10,000 People's Choice Award, which allowed him to have his Christian Siriano brand and exclusive spread in Elle magazine.

In September 2008, Christian will make his debut at New York Fashion Week Fall, where he wears Musketeer-inspired clothing with frills and feathered wide-brimmed hats. After the show, Victoria Beckham, who worked as a jury member on the Podium project, noted that the designer's creations are a breath of fresh air and she will definitely buy and wear the clothes of a young couturier. New projects

In 2008, Siriano is preparing a collection for the prom in collaboration with the Puma brand, which marked the beginning of the massive promotion of Christian's clothing in the fashion market. Later, in the summer of that year,the Fierce Mamas maternity line was launched in cooperation with Moody Mamas. In December 2008, Siriano partnered with Payless Shoe Source to develop a line of low-cost handbags and shoes that made their way to Payless stores. Subsequently, an agreement was signed with Payless to develop the "Gold Collection", a high-priced premium collection of bags and shoes.

Christian Siriano is also known for creating a fashion phone in partnership with LG called the LG Lotus in February 2009. He also started his own makeup line in partnership with Victoria's Secret, Christian Siriano for VS Makeup. As part of a Starbucks order, Siriano creates a gift card set. In 2010, another product appears - fashionable cleaning sponges. 2012 saw the opening of Siriano's first flagship store on Elizabeth Street in Manhattan.

Along with creating unique designer collections, Siriano has also published his book, with the help of Tim Gunn, "Brutal Style: How to Become Your Most Incredible Self".

Private life

Christian Siriano and Brad Walsh have been romantically involved for a number of years. Christian is openly gay, and he does not hide it. Brad Walsh is an American singer and music producer. He writes musical compositions for Christian's fashion shows. On July 28, 2013, young people were engaged. Instead of rings, they put on marriage bracelets. There is no talk about painting yet.
