Biography
Nikolai Morozov is a native of Yakutsk. He graduated from school in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky and moved with his parents to live in Brest. The Institute did not have to choose for a long time, he entered the one that was nearby. He had a school certificate with honors, so Nikolai passed the exams at the Brest Polytechnic without any effort. While studying at the institute, he began to engage in his favorite hobbies: sewing, and also dancing. Sheathing friends and girlfriends, Nikolai Morozov received small fees, which helped the family survive in the difficult years of change.
With the dance group "Joy" he visited many countries. Of all the cities he saw, Paris made the greatest impression on him, where Nikolai first arrived in 1991.
Having received the speci alty "civil engineer, architect", Morozov did not start working on it, but went to France and got a job as an apprentice in an atelier in Nice. Then he studied at the Esmod Paris School of Fashion and Design. After returning from France, Nikolai Morozov opened his own atelier in Brest in 1993, where he worked alone, embodying his design plans. Gradually, the studio increases the staff. His mother, brother and wife, as well as cousins, begin to work with Nikolai. Tailoring and selling brought his whole family together.
Business Development
At one time, at the beginning of his career, Nikolai took part in Fashion Weeks in Moscow and St. Petersburg, but he did not like the level of these shows. More money was spent on the entertainment of the public, but there was no return. In 1995, the atelier, created for sewing a small number of products, turns into one of the largest Belarusian sewing enterprises for tailoring women's clothing under the Nickolia Morozov brand.
The enterprise is equipped with the most modern sewing equipment. We use high quality fabrics from leading manufacturers. Every year, the company develops and sells four collections of clothing for each season. Double collars look great on women's office-style shirts.
In 1998-2000, Nikolai Morozov's clothes receivedawards at the international exhibition Paris-expo and the Spring fashion week in St. Petersburg, and was also awarded the quality mark at a professional exhibition in Moscow. In 1999, fashion designer Morozov became a member of the Association of Young Designers of France.
Brand collections and perspectives
Designer Nikolai Morozov produces collections that have several directions: business and evening wear for women, as well as the Pret-a-porte line, which presents everyday outfits. The collections use fabrics of different structure and in different colors. The designer plans to create a collection of clothes for men.
Currently, Nikolai Morozov is mainly in Paris. Here he draws inspiration and creates model projects. Not all the time the fashion designer is busy with his favorite work. Nikolai Morozov has a house in a forest in Belarus and a beloved Doberman. He likes to dig in the ground, plant flowers, spend time with relatives. He usually meets in his mother's house with his brother, nephews and cousins. In the circle of his family there is alwaysopportunity to relax. Nikolai is also interested in pottery, although there is practically no time left for this.
Morozov considers himself a happy person. First, he loves the work he does. Secondly, he gets satisfaction from the fact that his collections and custom-made clothes are liked by women. Of course, he has dreams that he would like to fulfill. However, being an earthly person, Nikolai understands that not everything and not always depends on him. And he is also very grateful to his mother, who supports him in all endeavors.
