A native of Krasnodar was born on November 11, 1986. His occupation is called telephone hooliganism. However, the Russian prankster Vladimir Kuznetsov (Vovan) was recognized as the best in his field for three years until 2014. And in 2015, his name was on the list of promising Russians under 33.
In his school years, the young man was not particularly interested in anything. But at some point, the boy was found to have a predisposition to copying and imitating voices. After graduating from high school, Vladimir Kuznetsov enters the university at the Faculty of Law. After receiving a diploma, he writes articles about famous people for Moscow newspapers.
The start of the journey
Vladimir made his first phone pranks back in 2007. Then he was just beginning to approach the big stars, his phone book included such names as Ksenia Sobchak, Elena Khanga, Boris Moiseev and others. Those pranks did not carry topical humor and witticism. It was rather for their own fun, one might say, a test of the pen. Soon he himself became bored with thesesmall pranks, I wanted something more.

His full-fledged activity begins in 2011, when he moves to Moscow. For his pranks, the prankster Vovan used the information he received when compiling the articles.
Vladimir posted all his conversations on YouTube. The first telephone prank, which was appreciated nationwide, was the call to Vitaly Mutko after the loss of the Russian team at the European Championship. Pranker Vovan called him on behalf of the captain of the national team, who was terribly upset by the defeat. The Minister of Sports did not have a single drop of doubt, and from the first seconds he is trying to cheer up the football player. According to Vladimir, the video has received more than half a million views, and it was talked about in all the media. After a series of political conversations, Vladimir received praise from his former victim, Ksenia Sobchak, who said the direction was the right one.
When Vladimir Kuznetsov got to Lukashenka in 2014, the popularity of the impersonator instantly skyrocketed. The prankster Vovan dialed the number of the President of the Republic of Belarus on behalf of Yanukovych's son. The dialogue lasted 20 minutes, in which the son of Yanukovych asked for a visit and promised to present the president with a loaf made of gold. Lukashenka did not understand that he was being played and was expecting guests.
Followed by a call from Anastasia Volochkova on behalf of the representative of the mayor of the city somewhere in the Far East with a proposal to visit their region with tours. Pranker Vovan drew attention to the ballerina's love for the Russian bath andoffered to retire with the mayor in the sauna after the tour, to which Anastasia easily agrees and asks for advice from a few more mayors, apparently in order to go on tour right away.
Since 2015, the prank of Sir Elton John has been added to the biography of the prankster Vovan. Having learned from the media that Elton wanted to talk to the President of the Russian Federation about the problems of sexual minorities in Russia, Vladimir and his assistant immediately called the recording studio with which Elton worked. From there, they learned the number of the singer's main assistant, and then contacted him personally. Delighted with such a sweet conversation, the artist announced it to his fans on his Instagram account.
Soon the information spread to all foreign media. However, the Kremlin did not give confirmation. Thanks to the activities of the pranksters, Elton's dream came true. Upon learning of this precedent, Putin personally apologized to Elton for the joke and promised to meet with him. True, it took quite a long time, because the cautious representatives of the musician did not believe for a long time that real representatives of the Russian government were trying to contact them.
Accusations
Most of the victims of the prankster Vovan are calm about the fact that they were played. However, there are and have been people for whom this is an unbearable blow to their reputation. So, for example, Volochkova threatened the guy that she would turn off his phone, but the matter did not progress beyond messages. Most often, people concerned about the prank claimed that they would go to court.
Also, accusations of cooperation with the FSB come towards him. However, the prankster Vovan categoricallydenies and claims that he chooses all the interlocutors himself.
Relationships
Prankster Vovan, according to him, has no personal life. He says that he has absolutely no time for fun and relationships - work comes first.
