Why Ukrainian journalist Alena Berezovskaya moved to Russia

Alena Berezovskaya: biography

Alena was born on June 2, 1988 in Ukraine in the Dnipropetrovsk region.

Alena initially worked for the online edition of Ukraine. She has been an investigative reporter in medicine, a reviewer in politics, economics and legal issues.

Since 2009, she came to the TV channel "Questions", where she became the author and host of the TV program "Obozrevatel.ua". Since 2011, she became the founder and editor-in-chief of the English-language newspaper The Kiev Times.

Alena also hosted her own program "Breakfast with Alena Berezovskaya" and was part of the staff of President Yanukovych's journalists.

When Yanukovych was overthrown during the Euromaidan, Alena, like many others, moved to Russia. Here she again began to advance in the field of journalism.

In 2014, the Rossiya Segodnya news agency launched a new project - the analytical publication Ukraina.ru. Berezovskaya became the chief editor there.

Also over the next year, under the leadership of Alena, documentaries were created that reveal the whole truth about today's Ukraine and Euromaidan. These are movies:

• "Puppeteers and actors of the Maidan". This film says that the Ukrainian state began to copy the policies of Western countries, that the government plays with citizens and their opinions, like a puppeteer with puppets. Here it is stated that the West is building Ukraine at its own discretion, completely absorbing power.
• "The right to choose".
• "Children of the ATO".

Films, of course, did not please the Ukrainian authorities and all supportersUkraine, so Alena Berezovskaya ended up on the list of Ukrainian sanctions for a year.

The girl took this as normal, because she is not going to return to the country that Ukraine is now. Alena Berezovskaya is sure that relations between Russia and her homeland will soon be restored and everything will be fine again.

Yanukovych and Alena in a close relationship?

In the recent past, when Yanukovych had not yet been overthrown from the presidency, Alena worked for him on the staff. She was so close to the president that there were rumors that journalist Alena Berezovskaya was Yanukovych's mistress. Photos in which Alena is constantly in close proximity to the president began to appear in various newspapers and magazines.

They wrote that at the age of 22, the girl was able to build such a career thanks to her connection with the president.

Alena also constantly accompanied the president on all his trips abroad. This also led reporters to think about their romance.

Alena Berezovskaya left comments on all these news. She wrote that Yanukovych is just her good friend and supports her. She said in an interview that she and the president's wife go to the same temple for services.

Few people believed that a young and beautiful girl paved the way to the top of her career with her own strength and mind. Of course, it is easier to believe that she has a high-ranking patron. In the end, everyone remained unconvinced.

Alena's views on current Ukraine

Alena Alexandrovna Berezovskaya, among many citizens of Ukraine, was against the fact that the government was overthrown. She calls Euromaidan a real terrorist operation. Alena is against the current government and politics, she believes that the policy of her country is built on the "base of fascist ideology".

Alena is also for Greater Europe, more precisely, its part from Lisbon to Vladivostok. She is a supporter of traditional Christian values.

Alena is also sure that relations between Russia and Ukraine should become close again. She advocates strengthening comprehensive ties between Russia, Belarus and Ukraine.
