Ksenia Solovieva is a journalist, editor-in-chief of Tatler fashion magazine and a candidate master of sports in tennis.
Childhood and sports
Ksenia was born on October 10, 1976 in Russia. The woman did not spread much about her childhood in the media, so this period of her life is shrouded in mystery. Solovyova's father was a doctor of technical sciences, but nothing is known about her mother.
The only thing Ksenia herself talked about was sports, which at that time played a big role for her. The girl traveled to many tennis competitions, which not only allowed her to receive the status of a candidate for master of sports, but also tempered her character.
Such a serious passion taught the future journalist punctuality, ease of uplift (sometimes it took five minutes to pack a suitcase and take off) and rapid movement forward. Thanks to this, Ksenia Solovyova boasts increased efficiency and the ability to take responsibility. Although, as the woman herself now says, being a child, she was a little scared to spend the night in second-class trains and live in hostels.
But even such a frantic pace of life did not break Xenia, moreover, for quite a long time the girl considered the world a safe and fair place. Because of this, when she first had tofaced with deceit, the future journalist was quite shocked.
Career
After graduating from the Faculty of Journalism at Moscow State University. Lomonosov Kenya Solovyova, whose biography is rather vague up to this point, finally took her first steps in her chosen profession. She started her career in the magazine "OM", where she was entrusted with the "Columns" section. For the girl, this was a colossal breakthrough, since previously she only wrote notes for tennis publications. Ksenia liked working in this glossy magazine, but when, two years later, she, having already gained experience, was invited to Gala for the position of editor of the beauty department, she could not refuse.
So Ksenia Solovyova, together with the Moscow team, had an internship in Paris. There they greatly surprised local workers with their rapid career growth, because then, in order to achieve such heights, the French women gave all their time to the publication. And of course, the Parisian "beauty" editors were ladies in their 50s who were very particular about their appearance.
New round
In 2007, Ksenia took up the position of Deputy Editor-in-Chief at Tatler, in parallel with the full head of the beauty department. She participated in the launch of the magazine on the Russian market, so she is well versed in its target audience and strives to improve the publication for her.
By 2010, Ksenia Solovyova achieved a promotion, having received the position of editor-in-chief. She took the place of Victoria Davydova, who headed anotherprestigious magazine. Such a personnel reshuffle was carried out with the approval of the publishing house, whose president noted Ksenia as an extremely talented employee, of which there are very few in the glossy industry.
Tatler
The editor of the magazine positions his offspring as a publication in which they write "for people about people." Solovyova is very proud of him and how many stories have already been told, despite criticism of the narrowness of the circle of heroes. She explains this by the fact that "Tatler" does not tell about the entire "starry world", because there are those who would not like to disclose their condition on the pages of gloss.
Ksenia is constantly adding something new to the magazine, trying to write about people of all ages, including children. In a word, the development of this publication under her leadership does not stop, and as far as possible, the editor brings something new to it in order to expand the audience.
Working with so many people allows Xenia to discover previously unfamiliar facets of human nature, but the woman tries to look at it positively and highlight only those qualities that she likes.
Ksenia Solovyova: biography
No one hides the age of the Tatler editor. At the moment, the woman is already 40. She managed to achieve considerable heights in her career, become famous and become the mother of two children. At their expense, Ksenia does not seek to raise her popularity, so very little information about them gets into the media. It is only known that todayday Solovyova has a 17-year-old son Nikita, who was educated in England, and an 8-year-old daughter Sasha.
Private life
Perhaps it is this area that the editor of "Tatler" protects from other people's views most carefully. The media has never leaked information about who the husband of Ksenia Solovyova is. And, despite the interest of the public, the woman is clearly not ready to disclose this information publicly.
In general, Solovyova's biography literally has to be pieced together from magazine articles, interviews and videos. Therefore, only her close and, possibly, ardent fans, who tirelessly follow news updates about Xenia, can have the most accurate information.
However, some people, because of the woman's last name, mistakenly believe that Dmitry Solovyov was her husband. However, the skater has nothing to do with the editor of Tatler. Moreover, he has never been the subject of an article in this magazine. Therefore, the news that Ksenia Stolbova and Dmitry Solovyov broke up has nothing to do with the editor Solovyova.
Hobbies
Here, unfortunately, there is not much to brag about either. Work and daughter take all of Xenia's free time. Her day starts at 6:30 in the morning and can continue until late at night if a meeting has been scheduled. The only thing that still has strength and resources left is tennis, Solovyova never gave it up and clearly does not intend to do so in the future.
However, a woman does not complain about life at all. "Tatler" she was not tired at all - according to Xenia, shenever get bored at work. Solovyova also spends her free time on maintaining a mini-blog on Instagram. For the most part, it is dedicated to the magazine, but sometimes a woman posts her photos in it and is happy to make contact with commentators.
The only rule the editor of Tatler follows is to never post pictures of anyone in his family. Ksenia is especially against posting photos of her children. She believes that they do not need to "shine" in her "Instagram" and earn undeserved fame.
Thus, Solovyova's life can be called bright and eventful, although it is difficult to envy her - after all, a woman gives herself entirely to her favorite pastime, so by the end of the day she can barely stand on her feet.
