Even many years later, the slogan "Land - to the peasants, factories - to the workers!" heard by many. Every person living in the post-Soviet space has heard it at least once in his life, even if he is incredibly far from anything even just in contact with politics, and acquaintance with this phrase took place only in history lessons.
However, the twentieth century was remembered not only by this phrase. Let's take a look at four main slogans, some of which, in fact, have become fairly common phrases in speech.
Land - to the peasants, factories - to the workers, power - to the Soviets
Perhaps, this slogan can rightly be called the most famous. In everyday life, it is usually reduced to the first two pairs: "land - to the peasants, factories - to the workers" ("women - according to the man," Internet users continue in a joking tone). It seemed like a great move. But it turned out to be a kind of "headline with an asterisk", and under"asterisk" in small print a number of reservations on the subject. That is why now the expression "land - to the peasants, factories - to the workers" in everyday speech takes on a somewhat sarcastic connotation.
Five years in four years
The economy was getting stronger, the country was developing, but the pace of this development sometimes left much to be desired. However, nothing makes a person work harder than the opportunity to be the best at something. Therefore, work in the fields and enterprises acquires a shade of competitiveness, and the development of the country - orderliness thanks to five-year plans, in short - five-year plans. But what best shows the performance of a group of people, for example, a workshop, if not overfulfillment of the plan set by the authorities?
The expression "five-year plan in four years" became the personification of the race that was going on between the workers, a reflection of the desire to do everything and even more, not just catch up, but also overtake, leaving far behind. However, kinks happen everywhere. And that is why the expression also acquired a negative connotation in a number of situations. It is often used to characterize the exorbitant demands of superiors. For example: "They want us to complete the five-year plan in four years!".
Sobriety is the norm
A slogan that will be popular and not losing relevance for a very long time. Although there is no prohibition in the country now, the fight against excessive alcohol consumption is still ongoing. This expression is popular not only amongpoliticians, but also among fighters for a he althy lifestyle, as well as among numerous religious figures of all faiths.
It should be noted that at different times success in this area also differed - alcohol consumption per capita either dropped to a minimum, then suddenly went up sharply, and with it the number of related problems in society grew, for example, the number domestic crimes or serious he alth problems, including prenatal development.
All the best for children
Caring for offspring is the same instinct of any living creature as the instinct of self-preservation or procreation. This is also true for man, who has even more opportunities for this than any other creature on the planet. Naturally, the attitude towards children differs in different cultures and in different historical eras. Somewhere they are considered small adults, and somewhere growing up and leaving their native nest is delayed for a long time.
The expression "all the best for children" quite clearly reflects the trend that has developed among the people. The desire to provide their children with a better life than the parents themselves had, no doubt, is commendable. However, many parents, in an effort to protect their child, fall into an extreme called "overprotection", which is just as harmful to a little person as inattention from relatives.
