The second time Elena Lukash became a people's deputy of Ukraine in 2007, also from the Party of Regions, No. 27, and only after the election of ViktorYanukovych as President of Ukraine terminates his parliamentary powers in 2010.

Political activities under Viktor Yanukovych

Her name has been in the headlines since the Orange Revolution. Even then, while representing Viktor Yanukovych during the trial in the case “Viktor Yushchenko vs. the Central Election Commission”, Elena Leonidovna Lukash, whose biography was not yet widely known to the public, appeared in legal and political circles.

As a People's Deputy of two convocations from the Party of Regions, she registered a number of bills. The most resonant were the amendments to the law of Ukraine "On the judiciary of Ukraine" (during the V convocation) and the rejected draft on amendments to the Constitution of Ukraine (on guarantees of immunity for certain officials) during the VI convocation.

Since 2010, the name of Elena Lukash has been inextricably associated with Viktor Yanukovych, she often speaks for the president on various political shows.

Immediately after his inauguration, Elena becomes First Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of Ukraine. Without staying in this position for a long time, already in 2011 he occupied the position of adviser to the President of Ukraine. Soon she is already a minister of the Cabinet of Ministers. And almost immediately - the representative of the President in the Constitutional Court.

The peak of Olena Lukash's career is her appointment as Minister of Justice of Ukraine.

Today, Elena Lukash is actively represented on Facebook, she has her own YouTube channel, where a woman actively educates the public on politics, justice and society. Her political career is over, in her native country she is considered a traitor. At the moment, the former politician has not been seen in any other activity. It remains only a mystery how it exists today and what it is going to do in the near future?..

In any case, in Ukraine, Lukash no longer finds any like-minded people or support, and the path to the government ranks is forever closed to her.
