Sergey Zheleznyak is a deputy and well-known politician of the Russian Federation. He is a member of the United Russia party and deputy secretary of its General Council. The start of the journey

He was born in Leningrad on July 30, 1970. After school, he chose the profession of a military man and entered the Nakhimov Naval School, which he graduated a year before coming of age. After that, he continued his education at the Kiev Higher Naval School. Even during his studies, he felt a craving for politics and joined the ranks of the CPSU in 1990. After graduating from college, in 1991, he was assigned to the training company of motorists of diesel installations of the B altic Fleet, where he became a political officer. In 2012, Sergei Zheleznyak took the chair of the Deputy Chairman of the State Duma and headed the All-Russian Union of Public Organizations of the People's Republic of Belarus ("People's Majority of Russia"), which advertises the intention to protect the interests of the majority of the country's citizens.

Legislative activity

Sergey Zheleznyak is one of the most active legislators of domestic policy. He constantly performs with variousinitiatives, for which he even has a letter of thanks from the President. Sergei Vladimirovich is the author of a draft law on amendments to the Tax Code of the Russian Federation, according to which fees for the rental of domestic film products should be abolished.

He also proposed to punish manufacturers of information products containing obscene language with sanctions, to oblige Internet providers to provide the FSB with information about users and to strictly control the advertising activities of bloggers. Perhaps the most famous and scandalous legislative initiatives of Zheleznyak are attempts to prohibit members of the Public Chamber from keeping money abroad. He also tried to stop propaganda of pedophilia in the theater, block access to advertising of sexual services in the media, criminally punish distributors of fascism and Nazism, and block Internet resources that host pirated content.

Many of Zheleznyak's colleagues believe that his legislative activities are agreed in advance with the President and therefore receive almost unanimous approval. Sergei Zheleznyak, whose biography, as we see, is quite interesting, today is a very active and promising politician.

Scandals and criticism

The whole path of Sergei Zheleznyak is fraught with scandals and high-profile proceedings. Even when he was the head of News Outdoor Russia (in 2009), tax authorities took up arms against Zheleznyak, accusing him of hiding a huge amount.

The United Russia deputy is constantly criticized by the opposition, and not only by it. So, one of the members of the Liberal Democratic Party accused Zheleznyak ofthat he is an agent of the West. And other oppositionists have repeatedly published information according to which Zheleznyak evades taxes, shows fake declarations, keeps money in offshore zones and is engaged in shadow business. Also, an active fighter against the influence of the West and a defender of everything Russian is regularly blamed for the fact that his children are educated abroad.

Private life

Not much is known about his personal life. Sergei Zheleznyak, whose family is quite large, is married. Has four daughters, they really study abroad. But, according to the father, having received diplomas, they will definitely return to work at home.
