After living in America for 5 years andbecoming independent, Garik told his father about his desire to return to his homeland. Kharlamov Sr. took his son's decision calmly and let him go home.

By the way, while Garik was abroad, his mother managed to give birth to two twin sisters and get married.

It is worth noting that Garik's mother did not support his development in the acting field, considering this profession frivolous and unstable. But the father not only did not dissuade Igor from going off the “planned path”,but also how he could support his son in his endeavors.
