Surely many people know about the status of the event called Rock-Line, held annually in the capital of the Perm Territory. In terms of popularity, it is in no way inferior to Invasion.

Historical background

Initially, the Rock-Line rock festival was held in Kungur. Back in 1998, it was included in the presidential program "Youth of Russia", becoming one of the best events in the country. Who organized such a large-scale project now? The creator of Rock-Line was the famous producer and musician Oleg Novoselov, who, unfortunately, is no longer alive. It was he who wanted to organize a concert venue on the roof of the local Stalagmit Hotel, and place the audience on the slope of the Ice Cave - a kind of natural amphitheater.

His idea was approved by regional officials and the mayor of Kungur, and the hotel owner liked it too, because there is simply no better way to advertise his business.

The first Rock-Line was visited by about 11 thousand people in two days. Then the weather conditions were far from ideal: in May, snow suddenly fell, and, despite the fact that it melted, it did not get warmer. One way or another, but the regional event was a resounding success: about himstarted talking not only throughout the country, but also beyond its borders.

In 1998, Oleg Novoselov was invited "overseas" (to the USA) as a representative of domestic socially significant projects.

Features of the event

The main task of the rock festival is to promote and support talents and talents little known throughout Russia that play rock. Modern admirers of this style today do not experience a shortage of quality music, so not everyone is interested in how to get to the Rock Line.

What makes this rock festival different from others? "Rock Line" (Perm) is the platform, the laureates of which release CDs with recorded material at the famous festival. This fact only confirms the high level of skill and professionalism of the performers.

Festival in recent years

With the death of the creator, the above project has not lost its significance. In recent years, Rock Line (Perm) has been organized by Novoselov's wife, Elena, and financial support is provided by regional officials represented by the administration. As before, the geography of the festival participants is extensive. Rock bands from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Chelyabinsk, Yekaterinburg, USA, Belarus, Uzbekistan try not to miss a single event.

And the list goes onand continue. Such eminent bands as "Serga", "CHAYF", "Lyapis Trubetskoy", "Screams of Vidoplyasova" have already been invited as headliners. Permian rock bands also perform at every festival held in their hometown.

For example, if you are a resident of the metropolitan metropolis, then you can get to Perm by train from the Yaroslavsky railway station. The journey will take approximately one day. A plane flying from Sheremetyevo and Domodedovo will take you to the capital of the Perm Territory in just two hours. The ticket price will be 2,800 rubles.

Rok-Line this year

Festival "Rock Line - 2015" (Perm) traditionally took place in the summer at the airport Bakharevka.

Over three hundred applications were received from those wishing to participate in this grandiose event. The members of the jury also provided an opportunity to perform at it to a team from the Crimea. Belarus, Israel, Latvia, Finland - these and many other countries were represented at the rock festival this year.

For two whole days, the audience was entertained by popular groups, including: Stepanov's Starlings, REVOLUTION, Parovoz (St. Petersburg), PRANA (Moscow), White Noise (Israel).

Rock-Line was hosted by well-known radio DJs Yana Gessle and Andrey Shmurai, as well as Igor Gindis, "on duty in the city".

The concert venue was designed into a "black cabinet". A widescreen monitor was mounted across the entire width of the backdrop, the length of which was 12.5 meters and the height was 3 meters. Such equipment of the stage allowed each team to convey audio and video content as accessible as possible.

What do you remember about the first day

The event was scheduled to start at six o'clock in the evening on June 26.

On the first day of the festival, the audience was captivated by the performance of the famous St. Petersburg group "Submarina". The girl-soloist, who appeared in the form of a hare with a guitar, left no one indifferent. At the end of the first day, the notorious Stepanov Starlings performed. Perm bands this time demonstrated diverse styles in music. Classical rock was played by the Jamahiriya group, ethnic notes sounded in the compositions of the Troin group, and SING SONG reminded the audience of the “jacket” rock and roll. In general, there were plenty of hooligan tunes that day.

It is worth noting the performance of the domestic group Princesse Angine. Exclusive violin notes and non-trivial lyrics added romanticism to the general mood of the audience.

At midnight, the participants of the sensational project “Kinonoch” came out to entertain the guests, and the Perm bands Soultrane and Reined introduced the audience to the original musical vision of Ernst Lubitsch’s silent films: comedies"Oyster Princess" and the drama "Eyes of Mummy Ma". Mars Needs Lovers and The AIRA also appeared on the scene.

What do you remember about the second day

The next day, musicians from the well-known Bravo band came out to entertain the audience. He became the headliner of the festival. Negotiations about the performance of the popular group by Elena Zorina-Novoselova were conducted in advance. The famous hit "Yellow Shoes" was not sung by the musicians, but trumpeted. The words from the hit immediately began to be heard from the crowd, and even someone who was not an ardent fan of Bravo sang along with everyone. Then the turn came to the famous hit “Of course, Vasya.”

The audience immediately began to sing loudly and then to twist. Leaving administrative affairs, Elena herself came out to have fun with the people. “This is another nostalgic composition from our distant life,” commented the lead singer of the group Evgeny Khavtan. For your information, he and Robert Lenz wonderfully performed the hits that Zhanna Aguzarova and Valery Syutkin once sang. One way or another, Bravo, as a headliner, had potential competitors at the festival: Yulia Kogan, who once performed with the Leningrad group, and Svetlana Surganova. However, the budget of "Rock Line" was modest, and in the end, the legendary band "Bravo" agreed to act as a headliner: it did not take long to persuade the musicians.

The degree of organization of the festival

As it was already emphasized, the organizers do not provide entrance fees to the festival "Rock Line". ATA tent city was created within the boundaries of the airport, in which each guest was provided with an overnight stay. Such a shelter cost 200 rubles, and the price of parking a car - another 200 rubles. Last year alone, about 40,000 guests from all regions of Russia came to the event.

The festival will celebrate its 20th anniversary next year. For fifteen years in a row, "Rock Line" has been held in Perm.
