He knew firsthand what war was. While still a boy, he went to the front and heroically fought against Nazi Germany. This is already enough to call this artist a great person. Childhood and youth

Ivan Sergeevich Kosykh was born on November 11, 1925 in the city of Alapaevsk. The boy grew up in a simple but loving family. Ivan Sergeevich's father, Sergei Ivanovich Kosykh, was an ordinary worker, mother Natalya Petrovna was engaged in household chores.

Since childhood, the future artist has shown interest in music, so after graduating from school he goes to enter the Ural State Conservatory. Mussorgsky in the accordion class (in the future,his skills on the instrument will be useful to him for work in the cinema). However, Ivan Kosykh did not manage to finish it - in 1943 he volunteered to defend his homeland.

Post-war and student years

After demobilization, in 1946, our hero enters the Sverdlovsk film actor school. There he studied for 2 years, and then transferred to VGIK to the acting department, and they took him immediately to the third year. Its leaders were the Soviet theater and film director S. Yu. Yutkevich and the legendary film director M. I. Romm.

Theater

After graduating from an educational institution, a new interesting period begins in the biography of Ivan Kosykh. At the beginning of the 50s, he was accepted into the staff of the theater-studio of a film actor. There he worked until 1990, after which he went on a well-deserved rest. This theater gave him many wonderful roles: Turkenich ("Young Guard"), Ivan Roshchin ("Three Soldiers") and others.

Ivan Kosykh has been acting in films since 1950. Basically, he plays serious and courageous characters. However, there are also negative characters in his arsenal: remember, for example, the film "They were actors", where Ivan Sergeevich was in the role of a traitor. The artist also managed to play the Russian revolutionary Vladimir Ilyich Lenin twice.

For all his creative activity, actor Ivan Kosykh managed to star in more than a hundred films, including: "True Friends", "Colleagues", "Trotsky", "With and Without You", "Red Square", "Entertainment for Oldies", "Honest Magic" and many others.

Private lifeand the famous son of the actor

Besides this, our hero was also a wonderful family man. In 1960, Ivan Kosykh marries his childhood friend, Ninel Dmitrievna, who at that time already had two children, Vyacheslav and Viktor. The first, by the way, followed in the footsteps of his stepfather and became a professional theater and film actor. Three years after the wedding of Ivan Sergeevich and Ninel Dmitrievna, their daughter Natasha is born.

Death

The actor died of a heart attack on January 15, 2000. His entourage remembers him as a kind and sympathetic person who was always ready to help. The departure of Ivan Sergeevich from life turned out to be a huge tragedy for them.
