Viktor Ivanovich Ilyukhin is a well-known politician who has long been a member of the State Duma, representing the interests of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation. He was a member of its composition from the first to the fifth convocations. Victor Ilyukhin, whose cause of death is not clear and not fully clarified, was a second-class legal adviser. This article is devoted to his biography and life path.
Begin biography
The famous politician Viktor Ilyukhin was born on March 1, 1949 in the small Penza village of Sosnovka, which is located in the Kuznetsk region. After graduating from school, in 1971 he entered the Krupskaya Institute of the city of Saratov at the Faculty of Law.
Start in employment
Victor Ilyukhin began his career in the timber industry of his native city. He mastered the first profession of a loader very quickly. And when I was already studying at the institute, in my last years I began to combine my studies with work in the police department. It turned out that being an investigator is very difficult. After graduating from the institute, he rose sharply in his career, becoming a legal lawyer.
But then it was time for urgent service andViktor Ilyukhin, whose biography is full of events, ends up in the Pacific Fleet. The year of service in the Navy was remembered by the young man for life. But this military and difficult life on a submarine floating base not only taught the young man a lot, but also tempered his character.
Returning to his former place of work in 1975, Viktor Ilyukhin, whose photo is in this article, began to rise sharply up the career ladder. At first he was an investigator in the district prosecutor's office, and soon a promotion followed - the position of deputy head of the investigation department. After that, he became the head of the same department. Before the well-known politician joined the CPSU in 1978, he was appointed deputy prosecutor of the Penza region.
Work in the prosecutor's office
For two years, since 1984, Viktor Ilyukhin has served as deputy prosecutor, and then was promoted to the Prosecutor General's Office of the Soviet Union. He worked as head of the main investigative department for three years. During this time, Vladimir Ivanovich took part in the disclosure and investigation of various war crimes, among which were high-profile cases of the Nazis. This greatly influenced him and further strengthened his character and desire to achieve the truth in everything. Viktor Ilyukhin managed to work in "hot" spots, where he headed the special groups that were investigating.
Already in the middle of 1989, the well-known politician Viktor Ivanovich Ilyukhin, on the recommendation of the Prosecutor General of the Soviet Union, was appointedhead of the department, which supervised the observance of laws. At the same time, he became a member of the board of the prosecutor's office, and after a while, an indispensable assistant to Sukharev.
In 1990, he made a name for himself when he spoke out against a group that was exposing high-ranking officials in Uzbekistan. He attacked Gdlyan and Ivanov with accusations that they used illegal investigative actions. Viktor Ivanovich demanded that criminal cases be opened against these people, but the public nevertheless sided with them. After that, the whole country started talking about him as a reactionary.
But Ilyukhin did not leave his incriminating cases on this and already in 1991 he opened a criminal case against the incumbent president. Mikhail Gorbachev was charged with treason, since in September of the same year he signed an agreement on the independence of some countries, for example, Estonia and Lithuania. But Nikolai Trubin, who at that time was the Prosecutor General of the Soviet Union, closed this case, since it was not Mikhail Gorbachev himself who violated the law of 1990, but the State Council.
And a few days later, his career as a procurator was over, as the obstinate communist was fired. After that, Vladimir Ivanovich Ilyukhin worked for some time at Pravda, where he headed the legal department.
Political activities
After leaving the prosecutor's office, Vladimir Ivanovich continued his activities. Unable to initiate criminal cases himself, he called for them to be initiated against several presidents as well. He accused them of signing the Belavezha Accord, which led to the collapse of the Soviet Union.
In the autumn of 1993, as soon as the Supreme Council ceased to exist by order of Boris Nikolaevich, Ilyukhin was appointed prosecutor by a decree of parliament. In 1994, Vladimir Ivanovich took the post of chairman of the security committee.
Private life
Vladimir Ivanovich Ilyukhin was married once. His wife, Nadezhda Nikolaevna, successfully built a career as a lawyer. In this marriage, two children were born: Ekaterina and Vladimir.
Death
Unexpectedly for everyone, Viktor Ivanovich died in the family country house on March 19, 2011. His son was still in school.
Doctors determined that death was due to a massive and prolonged heart attack. But despite this, the departure of a politician like Ilyukhin seemed very strange. He never complained about his heart, so it is possible that there was a political component in his death.
