Alexander Kozlov: Biography of a football player
Born March 19, 1993 in Moscow, Russia. From childhood he was fond of football, a pupil of the specialized children's and youth sports school of the Olympic reserve "Spartak". At the age of 15, he began to play for the double of the Moscow Spartak. Among teammates, the guy was distinguished by good technique and lightning speed. The coach often experimented with the player's playing position. Thus, Alexander Kozlov can play as a left and right winger, and can also take the place of a sub-forward. In 2008, at the tournament of the Russian football championship among youth until the year of birth 1992, Alexander showed himself from the best side, for which he received the Audience Choice Award. The following year at the 1993 tournament in Alma-Ata(Kazakhstan) Alexander Kozlov became the most productive player of the entire championship: the player managed to score 14 goals in 4 games. After these events, interest from agents, managers and clubs increased in the football player. A few months after the performances in Alma-Ata, Alexander signs an agreement with an agent, who subsequently dissuades the player from pursuing a career in Spartak Moscow. This fact explains the fact that at the end of 2009 the footballer almost did not train with the "red-white" team.
Sports biography of Alexander Kozlov
In April 2010, the football player made his debut for the main team in the game with the Spartak-Nalchik team. In that match, he replaced Jeannot in the 85th minute of the match and spent the rest of the time on the field (the match ended with a 0-0 draw). In the same season, there was a conflict related to referee incompetence in relation to the game and, in particular, to Alexander Kozlov himself. In the match of the 10th round against Alania, the striker was knocked down in the pen alty area, for which he received a warning in the form of a yellow card. It seemed to the chief arbitrator that there was nothing serious in this game fragment and that Kozlov was simulating. The total score of the match was 5:2 in favor of Alania. The head coach of the "people's team" Valery Karpin spoke unflatteringly about the main referee, believing that this match was bought.
Injuries, loan at Khimki
In June 2010, Alexander Kozlov was injured - a microtear of the femoral muscle. The football player had to postpone training for half a month. Playerquickly recovered and continued training, but in October he received another serious injury in a match with Rostov. The player broke into the pen alty line at speed, where he was blocked by a defender in a rude way. As a result, Spartak earns a pen alty after losing 0:1 and converts it (the match ended with a draw 1:1), and Alexander Kozlov is carried away on a stretcher from the field.
November 4, Alexander played in the Champions League for the first time, in a match against London Chelsea.
The general game picture of the football player suited the coaching staff, however, due to his youth and inexperience, the player did not fully satisfy the requirements. As a result, in August 2012, the Red-Whites decided to loan the player to Khimki to improve their playing practice.
In 2014, he returned to Spartak, but due to a serious injury (knee injury), he missed the entire 2014/2015 season at the summer training camp.
Transition to the lower division and transfer to the Kazakh club "Okzhetpes"
The missed football year played a decisive role in Alexander's sports career. The player lost his place not only in the base, but also in the reserve. In June 2016, Kozlov signed a two-year agreement with the second division club Tosno. After playing just a few games here, Alexander Kozlov moved to Fakel Voronezh a few months later.
In January 2017, he signed a one-year contract with the Kazakh club Okzhetpes from the city of Kokshetau.
