Irina Abelskaya: biography

Irina was born in 1965 in border Brest, left for the capital and entered the Minsk State Medical Institute at the Pediatric Faculty, which she successfully graduated in 1988. I met my first love while studying. Soon a wedding, a child, family problems - in a word, like everyone else. The marriage was short-lived. After the divorce, Irina was left alone with her son in her arms. She did not return home, to Brest, and began working in one of the Minsk hospitals. She was in good standing, although she did not stand out in anything special. Sweet, kind, efficient. Her interests included work and her son. And fate was already preparing surprises.

The president's favorite doctor

1994 gives Belarus its first president. It becomes Alexander Lukashenko. He immediately starts a new order in his environment and gives the order to find a new personal doctor. In complete confusion, the subordinates selected applicants according to the following criteria: a young woman, unmarried, it is possible with a son. Irina Abelskaya, whose photo is presented to your attention in the article, was completely suitable in all respects.

This year was a turning point for the ordinary endocrinologist Irina Abelskaya: she soared up the career ladder, she was appointed as a therapist at the presidential hospital, followed by an urgent transfer to the country's most prestigious he alth resort, assignment of the highest qualification category and, finally, a new duty - everywhere to accompanypresident. Abelskaya always followed him. Once, at a banquet, Lukashenka became interested in dancing with the minister's young wife. Without waiting for the end of the w altz, Irina came up and broke up a couple. Mistakes were repeated more and more often, and in response, she began to receive insults in front of outsiders. The situation was heating up. Probably, wanting to loosen control over himself, Lukashenko loaded Irina with a new job, appointing her as the head physician, and her mother as the Minister of He alth.

Birth of a son

In August 2004, Irina had a son weighing four kilograms. The birth took place in complete secrecy, with round-the-clock protection from the Presidential Security Service. Doctors and midwives of the clinic were strictly forbidden to disclose any information. Only close relatives could visit the young mother. They named the boy Nicholas. After being discharged, the young mother wanted to register her son herself, but she was not allowed to. Apparently, the birth of a child was the last opportunity to finally bind Lukashenka, to obtain a legal status. But nothing happened.

Unenviable share

Then followed the collapse of all hopes. Irina was fired from her job with a scandal, Lukashenka himself criticized the work of an institution subordinate to her. Left without support, Irina Abelskaya disappears from the field of view of ubiquitous journalists for several years. The most unbelievable rumors spread. They said that Lukashenka married her to his bodyguard, that she allegedly went to Sochi to work in a sanatorium, that she was being treated in one of the Minsk psychiatric hospitals, that she was not in this world at all. Life goes on

What does Irina Abelskaya do? Where is she now? Irina Stepanovna worked for several years in an ordinary Minsk polyclinic, doing ultrasound. Over time, the president forgave everythingand raised her again: he returned the positions and titles, but he took his son Kolya to himself. In November 2009, she returned to the position of head physician, in 2010 she was returned to the Interdepartmental Commission of the Republic of Belarus. Irina Abelskaya, Professor of the Department of Radiation Diagnostics, took an active part in the work of the sleep research laboratory. At the moment, she was appointed director of the Republican Research Center for Oncology and Medical Radiology in Borovlyany.

In general, everything is worthy with a career. But something tells me: not everything is so serene in Irina's life.
