At all times, close attention from society has been riveted to the richest people in a country or region. The twenty-first century is no exception. Today, perhaps, there are no such rich people whose name would be classified. Another thing is that there may not always be a lot of information about such persons. But we, in turn, will try to correct this situation and tell about a man named Konstantin Grigorishin. This is an oligarch leading a rather secretive, non-public lifestyle.
Birth and education
The future "father of raider seizures" was born on November 16, 1965 in the Ukrainian regional center - Zaporozhye. It is noteworthy that, despite his Ukrainian roots, today Konstantin Grigorishin does not have Ukrainian citizenship, but has Russian and Cypriot passports.
In 1987, the future oligarch received a diploma from the Moscow Physics and Technology University. Speci alty - engineer-physicist. In 1991, at the same university, he completed his postgraduate studies and received a PhD in physics and mathematics. For some time he was an employee of the Institute of Spectroscopy, which, in turn, was part of the USSR Academy of Sciences.
First steps in business
At the dawn of the 90sKonstantin Grigorishin began trading in metal. In this case, his partners were Yevgeny Ageevetsky and Alexander Pashonin. Together they opened the "Central Wholesale Mtellobaza" in the capital of Russia. In Ukraine, the partners of the young enterprising businessman were his former classmates - Igor Boyko, Andrey Nemzer, Leonid Pivovarov. It was they who organized the sale of metal from the Zaporizhstal enterprise through a company called Zaporozhye Metal.
Working with offshore companies
Starting from 1996, Konstantin Grigorishin creates several companies in the British Virgin Islands and Cyprus. While engaging in rather dubious barter schemes, the businessman was nevertheless able to bring the products of Ukrainian largest enterprises to international markets. In addition, it is also known about the formation of financial flows with the help of Grigorishin for the withdrawal of money from Ukraine to other states.
Meet Lazarenko
At a certain time, Konstantin Ivanovich found himself in a rather difficult situation. The case was connected with the misappropriation of funds by the partners of the businessman. But the then Prime Minister of Ukraine Pavlo Lazarenko helped him get out of this difficult situation. Grigorishin's skills and abilities turned out to be useful for an official of such a high rank. Therefore, the Russian oligarch begins to increase his assets in his historical homeland, having a serious "roof" in the person of Lazarenko.
In the mid-90s, Grigorishin oversaw the removal of spent fuel from Ukrainian nuclear power plants, and also delivereddetails for these items. However, after Lazarenko left the post of prime minister, this business had to be abandoned.
Surkis brothers
In 1998, businessman Konstantin Grigorishin came under the auspices of the leaders of the SDPU (o) in the person of Viktor Medvedchuk and Grigory Surkis. Such cooperation allowed the Russian to create a consortium, which included metallurgical plants, several regional energy associations and other enterprises. But already in 2001/2002 the situation changed. Due to a conflict with politicians, Grigorishin was forced to sell two ferroalloy plants. In the consortium itself, all its people are removed from their posts.
Legal Trouble
In the autumn of 2002, Konstantin Grigorishin, whose biography is full of both ups and downs, was arrested by police in Kyiv. He was charged with the fact of illegal possession of drugs and weapons in the car of MP Sivkovich. As a result, the businessman was nevertheless released, and the criminal proceedings against him were closed. According to many people close to this case, such a rescue was made possible thanks to the intervention of the Ukrainian oligarch Pinchuk. Although there is an opinion that someone from the Administration of the head of Russia worried about the fate of Griogryshin. If you believe Igor Kolomoisky, then Konstantin Ivanovich gave Pinchuk his shares in Dneprospetsstal for solving his problems, and at a very low price.
BIn 2008, the SBU banned Grigorishin from entering the territory of Ukraine for a five-year period. This decision was due to his involvement in raider attacks on the Turboatom enterprise.
In the same year there was another trial in which Konstantin Grigorishin was implicated. The dossier of this oligarch says that the lawsuit was related to the right to buy out 98% of the shares of the Dynamo football club (Kyiv). Moreover, the lawsuit was filed by the businessman in the High Court of Justice, located in London. As a result, the Russian won this legal confrontation.

Energy Standard by Konstantin Grigorishin is perhaps the largest holding of this rich man. In addition to him, the oligarch owns enterprises and companies in mechanical engineering, shipbuilding, transport, and energy. In particular, Ukrrichflot is a joint-stock company, which is the strongest river carrier within the Ukrainian state.
Also worth noting is the businessman's love of collecting art. Many exhibits of his collection are regularly taken to various international exhibitions. Lloyd's insurers valued the entire collection at $300 million. The paintings are kept both in Ukraine and Russia.
