Both the palette and the arrangement of flowers were considered sacred by all the peoples of the world, and the phenomenon itself was understood as a connection between heaven and earth, gods and people. In the ancient Indian epic Ramayana, a rainbow is called the divine bow of one of the supreme gods Indra, who throws lightning bolts from it, accompanied by thunder. In the Old Norse treatise "Bivrest", this phenomenon is interpreted as a bridge that unites heaven and earth at sacred moments. It is guarded by a guard. And before the death of the world and the gods, this bridge will collapse forever.

In Islam, the colors of the rainbow are seen differently in order. There are only four of them: red, yellow, green, blue. And just like the Hindus, this phenomenon was considered the bow of the god of light Kuzah, with which he strikes the forces of darkness, and after the victory hangs weapons on the clouds. The ancient Slavs called the rainbow a symbol of the victory of the supreme god Perun over the spirits of evil. His wife Lada draws water from the seas-oceans at one end of the "heavenly yoke", and pours rain over the earth from the other. At night, the gods carefully keep the rainbow in the constellation Ursa Major. There was a belief: if the seven-color arc did not appear above the ground for a long time, then one should expect hunger, disease, crop failure.

But in Christian times, the rainbow became closer and clearer to all the people of the planet as a reminder of God's forgiveness of people at the end of the Flood. As the conclusion of an alliance and a promise that henceforth the Almighty will not punish the people so cruelly. The rainbow has become a symbol of beautiful heavenly fire and peace. And the colors characterized God: purple - nobility, orange - aspiration, blue - silence, green - premonitions, yellow - we alth, blue - hope, red - victory.
