He was said to be an actor by vocation. This man remained faithful to his profession all his life. Dvorzhetsky Vaclav was not only a talented actor. He possessed such important and rare qualities today as nobility and generosity. In addition, this gifted actor steadfastly endured all life's troubles and blows of fate. Dvorzhetsky Vaclav had great willpower, thanks to which he not only did not lose heart, but also made sure that his friends and colleagues never succumbed to despondency.

Remarkable is the fact that the actor was not a darling of fate: she prepared for him severe trials.

Years of youth

Vatslav Dvorzhetsky, whose biography will be of interest to many, is a native of the Ukrainian capital. He was born on August 3, 1910 into a Polish noble family. When the boy was eight years old, he was sent to study at the gymnasium. Two years later, Vaclav Dvorzhetsky began attending a labor school.

After some time, the future actor joined the ranks of the Komsomol organization, but in 1925 he was expelled from it due to a "specific" social origin.

In the period from 1927 to 1929, the young man learns the basics of acting in the local drama theater. Dvorzhetsky Vatslav also decides to enter the Kyiv Polytechnic University and eventually becomes a student of this university.

Soon the young man takes an interest in and becomes a member of an anti-Soviet social group called GOL (Personal Liberation Group).

Naturally, representatives of the new government could not ignore such a passion for the descendant of the Polish nobles, and Dvorzhetsky Vatslav Yanovich ends up in the camps. For seven whole years (from 1930 to 1937), in exile, he was laying a railroad track.

However, the novice actor's craving for acting does not disappear in the new conditions: after exhausting work, he visits the local camp temple of Melpomene called "Tuloma theatrical expedition". It was created specifically to raise the morale of workers. It is on his stage that Vaclav Dvorzhetsky will play his first role. The theater's repertoire was more than impressive: Vassa Zheleznova, Guilty Without Guilt, Don Quixote. Despite all the hardships of a strict regime, the actor did not reproach fate for the segment of his life that he spent in exile. It was then that he learned a lot and understood a lot. Dvorzhetsky Vatslav Yanovich recalled that those who came to the productions of the Tuloma Theater Expedition were the most grateful spectators, most of whom had never seen performances. "The Temple of Melpomene united people of all stripes," the actor said.

Return home and searchself-realization

Camp life for a descendant of Polish nobles ended in 1937, and Vaclav Dvorzhetsky finally sets off for his native Kyiv. However, he fails to continue his theatrical career here.

No one wanted to see an actor with a criminal record in their troupe. Vatslav Yanovich made an attempt to get a job in the provincial theater of the city of Bila Tserkva, but it also failed: the political prisoner was objectionable to the director there.

Dvorzhetsky had to get a job outside of his profession. For about a month he has been working in a weight-checking workshop in the village of Baryshevka, Kyiv region.

However, the unclaimed actor Vatslav Dvorzhetsky understood that his real vocation was theater. He goes to Kharkov, where fortune finally smiles at him: a descendant of Polish nobles is taken to the troupe of the worker-peasant theater No. 4. The head of the culture department himself helped in Dvorzhetsky's employment. However, he did not have to work in this temple of Melpomene for a long time, since the official who was the "protege" of Vatslav Yanovich was fired, and the actor was forced to look for a new job.

Works in the theater

Fate threw Dvorzhetsky into a variety of provincial theaters, and in each of them he demonstrated the versatility of his talent. He worked in Omsk, and in Taganrog, and in Saratov, and in Nizhny Novgorod …

Absolutely diverse images were subject to him: Vatslav Yanovich brilliantly reincarnated ascomedians, heroes, tragedians. After that, noticing his talent, the directors of Moscow theaters began to call him to them. However, the maestro was in no hurry to accept their invitations.

Camp again

In 1941, the actor again falls into exile and will spend five whole years in it. But he does not lose heart and decides to continue doing what he loves. Near Omsk (where he was exiled), he creates a concert group and together with him puts on the number "Uncle Klim", in which vital and topical issues were raised before the viewer. In total, Dvorzhetsky took part in 111 theatrical productions, reincarnated in 122 images. In 1978, he nevertheless agrees to join the troupe of the capital's Sovremennik Theater, but after some time he leaves Moscow.

Film work

The maestro's work was memorable not only in the theater, but also in cinematography. Vaclav Dvorzhetsky, whose filmography includes more than 90 films, first appeared on the set when he was well over fifty. It was the painting "Shield and Sword" (Vladimir Basov, 1968). The actor had to reincarnate as a high-ranking member of the Abwehr Landdorf, and he brilliantly coped with the task.

Also, the Soviet audience highly appreciated the skill of the actor in films: “The End of the Lyubavins” (Leonid Golovnya, 1971), “Red and Black” (Sergey Gerasimov, 1976), “Ulan” (Tolomush Okeev, 1977). Of course, Vaclav Dvorzhetsky, whose films were included in the Golden Fund of Russian Cinema, was a sought-after actor. Such masterpieceslike "The Gloomy River" (Yaropolk Lapshin, 1968), "An Oriole Is Crying Somewhere" (Edmon Keosayan, 1982), "Forgotten Melody for Flute" (Eldar Ryazanov, 1987) are loved by the audience today more than ever.

Private life

The maestro had a very ambiguous relationship with the opposite sex. Did Vaclav Dvorzhetsky consider himself a happy person, whose personal life was far from standard? He claimed yes.

With his first wife - ballerina Taisiya Ray - he met in Omsk. Married to an actor, Prima gave birth to a son, Vladislav.

When fate sent him back to the camps during the war years, Dvorzhetsky had an affair with a civilian employee who bore him a daughter, Tatyana. At the end of the war, Vatslav Yanovich returned from exile to Omsk. His first wife, having learned about her husband's infidelity, breaks off relations with him.

However, the ballerina did not interfere with further communication between father and son. When Dvorzhetsky joined the troupe of the Omsk Drama Theater, he falls in love with a young graduate of GITIS Riva Livite, who ends up in a regional Siberian city by distribution. Some time later, members of the local city committee of the party called the female director "on the carpet" and, after an educational conversation, strongly recommended that she stop all relations with the political prisoner.

However, in the early 50s, the lovers legalized their relationship and moved to Saratov. There they got a job in the local temple of Melpomene. Together with them, their son Vladislav goes to the banks of the Volga. Some time laterhe decides to live on his own and enters a military school. Subsequently, he decides to act in films. In 1960, Vaclav's son, Eugene, was born.

Death

Dvorzhetsky Vatslav Yanovich, whose children became famous actors, passed away on April 11, 1993. The maestro was buried at the Bugrovsky cemetery in Nizhny Novgorod.
