Nagatinsky bridge is a huge and complex structure, for the construction of which the authors of the project, engineer - Alexandra Borisovna Druganova and architect - Konstantin Nikolayevich Yakovlev, were awarded the USSR State Prize. This is not a simple bridge, but a combined one. There are motorways and a subway line. The uniqueness of the Nagatinskiy bridge lies in the fact that it was first built on land to unload the traffic interchange. And after its construction, a channel for the Moskva River was dug under the bridge.
The construction of the bridge in 1969 greatly simplified the connection between the two largedistricts of the city - Kozhukhov and Nagatin. Previously, people traveled for more than an hour, driving around through another bridge - Danilovsky (now Avtozavodsky). Now this metro bridge connects the Zamoskvoretskaya metro line. Litigation
Before the overhaul of the overpass across the Moscow River, a tender competition was announced between construction organizations wishing to participate in this project. The company "Goldenberg" won in the open tender. For three years, the work was delayed and not completed. For a long time there was a court hearing on this issue.
Finally, the decision was not in favor of this company. The contract was terminated at the end of September 2014. Then the red tape with the filing of an appeal dragged on for a long time, which the court also did not satisfy.
Only in 2015A new team from LLC "Pelisker" took over the job, which, according to the contract, must complete the reconstruction within the prescribed 20-month period. This means that the opening of the Nagatinskiy Bridge will take place no later than the beginning of February 2017.
Completion of overhaul
Muscovites can breathe a sigh of relief. Reconstruction is fully completed. 805 meters of the bridge and flyovers look like new. The builders have replaced the entire coating, the adhesive joints are fully injected, the pedestrian steps on the stairs leading to the bridge have been replaced, all utility networks have been rebuilt, beams, spans, etc. have been reconstructed.
