Alexander Filippov: the career of a Ukrainian football player

Aleksandr Filippov (see photo below) is a Ukrainian professional football player who plays as a forward (forward) in the Desna club from the First League. As part of the Chernihiv club, he plays under the tenth number on the T-shirt.

Filippov played in the youth national team of Ukraine under 21 - he played 8 official fights and scored one goal.

Biography

Alexander Filippov was born on the twenty-third of October 1992 in the city of Avdeevka (Ukraine). Started playing football from an early agea pupil of the Donetsk UOR (Olympic Reserve School), in which he played in the youth football league of Ukraine in the period from 2006 to 2009. In 2011, Oleksandr signed a professional contract with Arsenal Kyiv from the Premier League. He spent his first season as a stand-in, often started in the starting line-up and made effective moves in the attack.

The debut for the adult team took place on November 25, 2012 in the match against Dynamo Kyiv, where the Gunners suffered a crushing defeat with a score of 0:4. In subsequent games of the Ukrainian championship, Oleksandr Filippov became more and more often involved in the main team, however, he still played a significant number of games as part of the youth team.

At the end of the 2013 season, the young striker had six matches in the Ukrainian Premier League, and in all of them he came out as a substitute in the last minutes of the game. On the eve of the 2013/14 season, Arsenal Kyiv began to experience some financial difficulties, due to which the team withdrew from the Premier League. Due to the lack of prospects and motivation, football player Alexander Filippov decided to leave the team.

Career in Illichivets Mariupol

In February 2014, A. Filippov signed a professional contract with Ilyichevets as a free agent. The player did not get into the main team, but was appointed to the reserve team. Subsequently, Alexander Filippov never made his debut for the Mariupol club.

Performances for NPGU-Makeevugol and AvangardKramatorsk"

In 2015, Filippov became a player of the Nikopol club "NPGU-Makeevugol" from the Second League of Ukraine. Here he immediately got a place at the base and took a key place in the attacking line. In total, he played eleven official meetings in the Nikopol club and became the author of three goals. After spending half a season in the Second League, the striker received offers from the Kramatorsk Avangard club to play in their squad in the First League. Ultimately, Alexander Filippov signed a contract and became a full-fledged player of Avangard. In the 2015/16 season, he played in twenty-three matches and recorded eight goals in his statistics.

Transition to Desna: a career in the Chernihiv club

In the summer of 2016, Alexander Filippov signed an agreement with Desna from Chernihiv, who play in the First League. Here, the striker quickly got a place in the first team and began to score goals. At the time of the spring of 2018, Filippov played 44 matches for the club, in which he scored two dozen goals. In the 2016/17 season, Desna became the vice-champion of the First League, receiving silver medals.

The occupied second place provided the team with access to the top division - the Ukrainian Premier League. However, "Desna" did not pass the proper certification in order to match the team status of the UPL. A lot of public outcry has grown around this decision. The club's management expressed their dissatisfaction with this, noting that in Ukrainian football there are no sports principles that are confirmed by the result, but only money, connectionsand corruption.

Yes, it was the financial component that became fundamental in the fact that the Chernihiv club did not get into the Premier League. The team remained to play in the First League, on July 15, 2017 the first match of the season took place.

Despite the financial difficulties that arose in the club, Alexander Filippov did not begin to wonder about changing the team. The striker was very valuable to her, and he himself understood this, and therefore remained loyal to Desna.

Currently Oleksandr is the best and main scorer in the team, and also competes for the title of the best goalscorer of the First League of Ukraine. In the 2017/18 season, Desna shows an excellent result - it is fighting for leadership with Arsenal Kyiv and Poltava. The team is a contender for access to the Premier League, but the financial side of the issue remains unexplored.

As part of the national team

In 2012, Alexander Filippov was called up to the Ukrainian national team, however, to the youth team. In August of the same year, he became a bronze medalist at the Lobanovsky Memorial, taking part in both matches. In January 2013, he took part in the Commonwe alth Cup, where he had a total of four fights, scored one goal and became the vice-champion of the tournament.
