Early years

Natalia was born into a simple Ukrainian family in 1985. The model was born and raised in Vinnitsa. She has an older brother who has been a role model for Natasha since childhood.

Today Natalya Gotsiy says that she was a tomboy from an early age. She shared her brother's interests and was friends with his company. Natasha was engaged in water polo and basketball. She did not dream of becoming a fashion model and was far from the world of glossy magazines.

Star Career

Natalia Gotsiy found herself in the fashion business by chance. Together with a friend, 15-year-old Natasha took part in the casting of models from the Kyiv agency Karin MMG and successfully passed the selection.

Participation in the Elite Model Look brought the first major success of the Ukrainian model. Gotsiy became one of the finalists of the competition.

2004 is a turning point in the fashion model's career. Natalya Gotsiy took part in the competition "Supermodel of the World" of the international agency Ford Models and won. At the competition, the Ukrainian earned special approval from Karl Lagerfeld, one of the judges and the most influential character in the fashion industry.

The victory in the international competition brought Natalia Gotsiy a contract with the Ford Models agency and a lot of job offers. The girl left for New York and became a regular participant in fashion shows, photo shoots for glossy magazines and advertising campaigns for leading brands of clothing and cosmetics.

World brands, contracts with which replenished the portfolio of Natalia Gotsiy: Dior, Alberta Ferretti, Dolce and Gabbana.

The model was the muse of Yves Saint Laurent and Carolina Herrera perfumes.

In 2006, Natalia Gotsiy joined the ranks of the "angels"Victoria's Secret. The model became the heroine of the catalog of the famous lingerie brand.

In childhood and adolescence, Natalia Gotsiy did not suffer from eating disorders. Problems with food began with the girl in the heyday of her modeling career. Before participating in the Elite Model Look contest, she lost a few pounds at the request of Kyiv agents.

Serious difficulties arose for Gotsiy after moving to New York. In the modeling community, maintaining a minimal weight was the key to being in demand in the industry, and for many girls it was an obsession. Natalia became a victim of outside pressure. Stress and overwork exacerbated the situation. The work of a fashion model on the set and shows could last up to 20 hours a day. The modeling business made strict demands on the appearance of girls, it required complianceadvertiser requests.

Psychological discomfort led to problems with eating behavior Gotsiy. She developed an aversion to food, which led to a sharp weight loss to 45-47 kg with a height of 180 cm. Private life

The chosen one of the model is an entrepreneur from Kyiv Ruslan Nizhnik. The couple met in the mid-2000s. A few days after the first meeting, the relationship between the model and the businessman took a serious turn and ended in marriage.

After the birth of her son, Natalya Gotsiy returned to the fashion business. Her husband was against her career. The conflict led to a break in their relationship in 2009. After 2 years, the couple reunited, and in 2013 the couple had a second son.
