The Pronya River, which is 336 km long, is located in the Ryazan region. It is one of the best reservoirs for fishing, especially in the lower part. Usually fishing on the Pronya River is carried out near the Ukhor settlements. There is a good place for fishing in the village of Kolentsy, the road to which leads through the field. Fish are perfectly caught in the whirlpools of these zones. In the past, there was a mill here, and now there is a dam left from it, under which fish swim in shoals. It can be caught with both non-live baits and live bait.

Downstream the Proni (Mikhailovsky district) for many kilometers there are excellent places for fishing (even in the whirlpools). Here, predatory fish are easily hooked, less often carp and roach. Also, catfish and carp come here from the Oka. The depth of these areas is small - mostly about three meters. Many residents of the capital and other large cities often want to find a corner to enjoy the magnificence of the majestic Russian nature, at least for a few days, to sit in silence, listen to birdsong, just breathe in fresh, non-polluted air, meet the dawn. It is surprising that such places are very close to Moscow. In the period from May to October, the banks of the Prony are ideal areas for such a holiday. And, despite the fact that the water in the river is cold due to springs, vacationers prefer to swim inher, because she is really very clean. Going to a depth of more than one meter, you can see not only the bottom, but also swimming fish.
