The future leader of the USSR was born on the territory of Ukraine, in the village of Kamenskoye. From an early age, he was drawn to knowledge, wanting to become an educated person at all costs, which he, in fact, succeeded in. At first he was a student of an ordinary gymnasium, then he entered the land surveying and reclamation technical school, and in the mid-30s of the last century he became a graduate of the metallurgical institute.

Three years later, he officially formalized a relationship with her. In 1929, a daughter was born in the family, and four years later, a son.

From the mid-60s of the last century, Leonid Ilyich began to reform the country, outlining the task of creating developed socialism. The economy for some time received an impetus to growth: plants and factories were given greater freedom of action, improved living conditions in the countryside. However, afterfive, there has been a stagnation in domestic politics, and Brezhnev's popularity rating as a politician has plummeted.
In relations with the West, the Secretary General continued the course of active diplomatic cooperation, in particular, a number of agreements on disarmament in European countries were signed.
