Zinaida Sharko is not as popular as other Soviet actresses. But nevertheless, in her asset there will be a number of bright roles that distinguish the artist from other famous personalities of Soviet cinema. In this article, we will describe the biography of this wise and strong woman.

Childhood

Sharko Zinaida Maksimovna, whose personal life will be presented below, was born in Rostov-on-Don in 1929. The girl's parents were very far from art. Mom had the status of a housewife, and her father worked as a fireman. In his entire life, he read only two books - Zhukov's Memoirs and Virgin Soil Upturned. But this did not prevent him from being an extremely intelligent person.

Close people call Zinaida Maksimovna a southern flower, as her childhood was spent in Novorossiysk, Tuapse and Rostov-on-Don. For the first time, the girl "met" the stage at the age of five. There was amateur performance at her father's work, and little Zinaida Sharko recited the work "Hedgehogs". The author dedicated this poem to the People's Commissar of the NKVD Yezhov.

Young actress

Of course, the girl dreamed of going to the front, like all children of those years. She even wrote a letter to the people's commissar of education. Zina asked to send her to study at the torpedo school. The teachers at the school were very concerned about this and called the girl's father. He said that if his daughter wants to defend her homeland, he will not interfere with her. Fortunately, the people's commissar was a smart person and left the letter of the young artist unanswered.

Moscow-Leningrad

At 18, Zinaida Sharko, whose personal life will be described below, graduated from high school with a gold medal. The girl firmly decided to enter the theater. Her parents were not happy with her decision. After several scandals, she left for Moscow.

The girl's idol was Alla Tarasova, who played at the Moscow Art Theater. Therefore, after the arrival, Zinaida immediately went there. She was shaking with excitement, because her favorite walked along the corridors of this school. But when she entered the reception room, the girl was shocked. The secretary nibbled on a pickled cucumber. And this is in the temple of art! Sharko, offended in her feelings, turned around andgone.

To escape from the experience, the tearful girl walked down the street and read to herself a poem by Margarita Aguilera about Leningrad. And then it dawned on Zinaida - she had to go to the northern capital. But if in Moscow Sharko lived with her mother's friend, then in Leningrad there was no one to shelter her. One manicurist came to the rescue and gave her the address. According to him, the future actress showed up at six in the morning. The door was opened by an old woman and asked: “Who are you?” The girl replied: “I want to be an artist!” Zinaida Sharko quickly became friends with her grandmother.

Happy Years

In appearance, the girl was absolutely not like the future actress. The dress sewn by my mother fitted her full figure with thick legs. In addition to amateur performances, Zina had no training at school. Nevertheless, the girl was not at all afraid of exams. She really wanted to become an artist, and this desire added to her confidence.

And a miracle happened - Sharko entered LGITMiK. At the entrance exams, one of the members of the selection committee remarked that if a girl gains even half a kilo, she will become unsuitable.

Study fell on the post-war years, when people had to starve. For the whole day, Zina ate only one pie and washed it down with a glass of yogurt. Such a diet brought her to a hungry swoon in the Philharmonic. Clothing, as well as food, was also in short supply. Once a friend invited the future actress to the theater, and she had to hide her hands all the time because of holes in her gloves.

But despite the hardships of life, Zinaida Sharko, whose biographypresented in this article, was happy. The girl learned the basics of her favorite profession. In the third year, Zinaida was invited to play in the regional theater. Sharko's performance was so good that she was nominated for a casting of young actors.

The girl graduated from the Institute in 1951. At graduation, she met a professor who accepted her at the entrance exams. He did not recognize the same "donut" in Charcot. Looking at the thin graduate from head to toe, the professor praised her, but noted that if she threw off another half a kilo, she would become unsuitable.

Career start

Immediately after completing her studies, Zinaida was invited to her team by Lydia Artmanake. It was very similar in structure to Raikin's Theater of Miniatures. Sharko played as many as eight roles and traveled all over the country with the team. One of the performances for them was staged by G. A. Tovstonogov. He noticed a talented actress and invited her to work at the BDT Theater. Charcot could not immediately leave her team and went on tour. When the actress returned, it turned out that another had already been taken in her place. Therefore, Zinaida got a job at the Leningrad City Council Theater. So the artist worked until 1956 and then nevertheless went to Tovstonogov.

In the acting environment, everyone knew that the BDT, in fact, is a "graveyard" for actresses. Georgy Alexandrovich always selected the most talented actresses, but the role for them was not always found. With Zinaida Sharko, everything was different. She liked Tovstonogov from the very first rehearsals. Actress Zinaida Sharko, whose personal life had already been arranged, received two roles at once - Varya("Donbass") and Beatrice ("Much Ado About Nothing"). And in the future, she was always loaded with work. But the real glory of the actress brought the role of Tamara in Five Evenings. BDT made Charcot famous all over the country.

Cinema

But with cinematography, Zinaida Sharko was not so good at first. The actress made her debut in 1954, playing in the episode of the film "We met somewhere." Then there were a few more small roles, but soon they stopped filming her altogether. The directors considered Zinaida not photogenic.

Kira Muratova was the first to take the risk. She offered Sharko the lead role in her film "Long Farewell". This dramatic story revealed the relationship of a lonely and defenseless woman Evgenia Vasilievna with her son Alexander, who was trying to become independent. Zinaida Sharko, whose filmography is known to all her fans, played at the level of world standards, embodying her role on the screen as realistically as possible. But “at the top” this film was considered dangerous and the project was frozen for many years. But this greatly helped Zinaida Maksimovna "advance" in the cinema. The directors began vying to offer her different roles.

After Tovstonogov

The actress Sharko Zinaida worked with Tovstonogov for thirty-three years. As the artist herself admitted, it was a very happy time that flew by like one minute. And then Georgy Alexandrovich passed away. This greatly influenced Zinaida Maksimovna. She stopped playingin the theatre. Over the next 15 years, the artist only once appeared on stage in the play "Antigon", embodying the image of a wet nurse.

Since the late 90s, Sharko has participated in various theater projects. The most famous works of the artist at that time include: "Old Maid", "Doves", "She Challenges" and "3 Tall Women".

Film works of the 21st century

The well-deserved actress was not spared by the cinema. At the beginning of the century, she played a number of bright roles: Baba Dusya (“Gangster Petersburg”), Plyuganovsky’s mother (“Mechanical Suite”), Nastasya Ivanovna (“Theatrical Romance”) and Vera Andreevna (“The Garden Was Full of the Moon”). For the last role, Zinaida Maksimovna was awarded the Nika award.

In 2004, the actress received an offer from director Andrei Malyukov. He invited Zinaida Maksimovna to participate in the Bad Glory project. After reading the script, the artist said that she would only act with Ada Rogovtseva. Malyukov agreed and later thanked Charcot more than once for this advice. The actress duo was simply amazing.

Private life

Actress Zinaida Sharko, whose biography is described above, was married twice. The first husband of the actress was director Igor Vladimirov. In 1956, the son of Zinaida Sharko and Igor Vladimirov Ivan was born. A happy family life lasted for seven years. And then the actress's husband went to Alisa Freindlich. For Zinaida, this was tantamount to the end of the world. After all, the artist had no such experience before. However, Sharko was able to survive this blow of fate.

Zinaida married the famous actor Sergei Yursky for the second time. But after a while, this union broke up. Over the years of her life in two marriages, there was nothing that Zinaida Sharko would regret. The husbands of the actress kept a good relationship with her. Now Zinaida Maksimovna lives alone. The artist already has two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
