This man is well known to the Soviet and Russian audience. And not only because he is the son of a great actor - Arkady Isaakovich Raikin. Konstantin Arkadyevich is a talented actor, director and a very interesting personality.

Childhood

Raikin Konstantin was born in early July 1950 in the northern capital. His father is the artistic director and actor of the Theater of Variety Miniatures (Leningrad) Arkady Raikin, and his mother is Ruth Markovna Ioffe. Parents were constantly on tour. They often visited the capital, so the family had a permanent room in the Moskva Hotel, where little Kostya was “handed over” to his grandmother.

Endless absences from classes associated with the tour of his parents did not affect Konstantin's progress. He did well in math school. It was not easy for a talented guy at the school. Fellow students considered Kostya "Raikin's son", and therefore perceived his success through the prism of a brilliant father. It is necessary to pay tribute to Konstantin - he quickly managed to prove that such a perception of his work is erroneous.

But the teachers highly appreciated his talent, as well as strict discipline - it was completely unthinkable for him to be late for a rehearsal. And the guy’s performance amazed even the teachers who had seen a lot. How are theythey recall, there was a feeling that several Raikins were studying at the same time on the course. He was everywhere - he made costumes, applied makeup, took part in the creation of scenery, but paid special attention to working on roles.

Already in those days, many noticed not only the acting, but also the organizational talent of the young man. It became clear that he could make an excellent leader of a creative team. Raikin Konstantin knew the theater from the inside since childhood, and he devoted 24 hours a day to the theatrical life.

Sovremennik Theater

Having successfully graduated from the Shchukin School (1971), Konstantin immediately receives an invitation from Galina Volchek to the famous Sovremennik Theater. I must say that the young actor faced a difficult task - he needed to find his own way, get out of the shadow of a great father, gain independence and recognition of his own talent.

In Sovremennik, Konstantin was lucky to play many small and large roles. The audience remembered him for the performances of Twelfth Night, Valentin and Valentina, Balalaykin and Co. and many others.

During ten years of work in the famous theater, Raikin became a recognized master, but most importantly, the audience less and less associated him with his father. A young, talented, bright actor appeared on the stage - Konstantin Raikin. Reviews of theater critics and critics increasingly noted his outstanding abilities, the ability to get used to the image. Satyricon

In 1981, Konstantin made a difficult decision for himself and transferred to the Theater of Miniatures (Leningrad), which was directed by his father. After the death of his father, Raikin Konstantin became the head of the Satyricon. It was he who was to continue the work of his father. And I must say that Konstantin copes with the task with dignity. He effectively combines acting and directing activities in the Satyricon.

In 1995, his work in the play "Transformation" (the role of Gregor Samza) was awarded the national theater award "Golden Mask". He received the second such award in 2000 for his participation in the solo performance "Contrabass". The third "Golden Mask" was awarded to the talented actor in 2008 for his brilliant work in the production of "King Lear".

No less fruitfully Raikin Konstantin works in the "Satyricon" and as a director. For the first time, the actor married Elena Kuritsina, a student at O. Tabakov's studio. The marriage lasted only three years andended in a difficult and painful divorce for both spouses.

In 1979, when Konstantin was still married, he accidentally met an old acquaintance - Alagez Salakhova. His father and the girl's grandmother lived in the neighborhood. Forgotten feelings flared up with renewed vigor. Constantine at that moment was not embarrassed that each of them had a family. But even in this marriage Konstantin Raikin was not happy. Personal life did not work out.

He found happiness only when he met actress Elena Butenko in his native Satyricon. In 1988, the family of Konstantin Raikin increased - the happy parents had a daughter, Polina. She continued the acting dynasty - she graduated from the Shchukin School, works in the theater. K. S. Stanislavsky, but at the same time actively cooperates with the Satyricon.
