Childhood

Komarov Andrei Ilyich was born in the autumn of 1966 in the city of Chelyabinsk. Some sources claim that the city of Ozersk was the birthplace of the child. Parents sent their son to a school with a mathematical bias so that the boy would grow up smart and quick-witted. In 1984, he graduates from it and becomes a student at the Moscow Institute of Chemical Engineering in the capital of Russia.

All these qualities were very useful to Komarov during his career growth. In 2001, a young man decides to team up with Anatoly Sedykh to run a joint business. To do this, he proposes to combine the assets of the enterprise named above.

Komarov's activities were very diverse and active, because he simultaneously held several important posts. In 2001, he is a member of the board of directors of the Vyksa Metallurgical Plant, and after that he holds the post of chairman of the board of directors in another metallurgical company. Soon Andrei Ilyich talks about his idea to create the "Alliance-1420". The purpose of this project was to produce large-sized metal pipes at the Vyksa plant. Anatoly Sedykh and Andrey Komarov got along very well as business partners. Their business was going up, which was evident from the results and liquidity of their joint business. A year later, Andrey Komarov becomes chairman of the board at United Pipe Plants CJSC (now ChTPZ Group). He remains in this position until 2004, and already in 2005 he becomes a member of the board of directors at the named enterprise.

The residents of Chelyabinsk saw perfectly well what success one of their fellow citizens was achieving. Komarov's affairs went up, he quickly and productively achieved his goals, each time raising the bar higher and higher. In September 2005, he begins to represent the Chelyabinsk region in the Federation Council of the Russian Federation. The decision to do so was made by the residents of the city in a vote. In 2005-2006, he appeared in the circle of members of the board of directors at the Pervouralsk New Pipe Plant. In addition to all this, from 2000 to 2010 Andrey Komarov takes an active part in the protection of nature and environmental protection, and even is a member of the government committee dedicated to these issues. Soon our hero becomes the head of the board of governors at the Center for Sustainable Energy Development.

In 2009 Andrey Komarov decides to sell the Chelyabinsk Zinc Plant. The new owners areAndrey Kozitsyn and Igor Altushkin. For this, Komarov receives state guarantees in the amount of 5 billion rubles.
