Moscow and the Moscow region have always been famous for their high level of development and modern approach to life. The leadership of the region strongly supports the participation of citizens in the social development of their native land.

In order to increase the initiative of residents of the cities of the Moscow region in 2013, the Governor of the Moscow region A. Yu. Vorobyov introduced a project called "Our Moscow Region".

The award is given to young scientists under 35 who have published the best scientific papers applied in practice in the field of mechanical engineering, medicine, ecology, mathematics, metallurgy, humanities and other sciences. Such motivations give a significant impetus to the development of the regions of our country. It does not matter that today it is only the Moscow and Sverdlovsk regions, which have taken a big step towards development, tomorrow, following their example, similar awards will be issued in all regions of our vast motherland, and being a socially active citizen will become very prestigious.
