Few people have not heard of such a well-known pistol as the Glock 23. To date, the pistols of this Austrian company have acquired the status of one of the most popular and sought after in the world. Therefore, the question of how common airsoft actuators with the form factor of such a colorful representative of the weapons world does not need an answer. This article is nothing more than a brief overview of one of those less traumatic brethren of the Austrian arms industry mastodon, created by KJ Works. And we will talk about the relatively fresh model Glock 23 Gen 4.

The pistol comes in a small box, on the lid of which the pistol itself is depicted, in fact, against the background of a vest or some kind of it. On the lower right side of the box, in very visible white letters, it is indicated that this is a gas pistol. You should also pay attention to the presence or absence of the inscription Metal slide, made in red, in the upper corner of the box. If you have this inscription on the box, the bolt frame of your pistol is made of a metal alloy. If there is no inscription - the frame is made of polymerhigh strength, which very well imitates metal.

- User manual. A very visual manual in English for the operation of the airsoft drive, which contains a detailed diagram of the pistol itself, instructions for loading cartridges, a step-by-step diagram for disassembling the pistol and a few words about setting up the gas mechanism.

- Next you'll see the Glock 23 pistol itself, which feels very comfortable in the recessed foam block of the box.

Appearance
Well, now let's take a closer look at the gun. Looking at it from a distance of 40-50 centimeters, distinguishing it from a completely real Glock 23 combat pistol of the same series will be a very difficult task even for a trained shooter holding a combat analog in his hand. As for the inexperienced shooter, it is almost impossible to distinguish a gas mockup from a gunshot twin brother, except at the most detailed examination.
Like the original, KJW's Glock 23 bolt case is made of metal,if you have a cheaper plastic model - made of a polymer that mimics metal. The grip and pistol frame are made of polymer in both cases - like a real Austrian.
More details:
- The bolt housing, except for the "Made in Taiwan" sticker, is missing any markings. On the one hand - a flaw, and on the other - scope for customization.
- The pistol grip is imprinted with KJW, the initials of the company.
- The trigger has a kind of trigger safety. However, if on the combat Glock 23 this fuse was associated with the internal mechanical part of the pistol, then here it is just a spring-loaded lever sitting on a pin, which in the free position rests directly on the frame of the pistol with one end, thereby preventing the shooter from pressing the trigger to the end. When the shooter presses the lever, the protruding part enters the slot in the trigger, thereby no longer preventing the shot from being fired.
- The magazine of the pistol also bears a high degree of similarity to the original magazine from the Glock 23. Its affiliation with a gas pistol is only revealed by the gas charging nozzle, as well as the already familiar initials of the company.

The reliability of a pistol is its fundamental quality. And if there are often no complaints about the reliability of the pistol body, this does not mean that its mechanical part is just as good. But the reliability of the pistol as a whole depends on its quality. And no matter howstrangely, there are no complaints about the reliability of the Glock 23 pistol. Having removed the shutter, you can see that most of the details of its frame are made of alloy, and the most mobile, such as the striker, the most loaded parts of the trigger mechanism, the trigger pin are made of steel. Such solutions greatly increase the wear resistance of the structure and protect it from accidental breakdowns, and you from surprises.
