According to legend, US resident Patricia Harosky registered Boss Day with the Chamber of Commerce in 1958. And in 1962, the celebration acquired a national scale (Illinois). The date of the celebration was also not chosen by chance. October 16 is the birthday of Patricia's father, for whom she worked as a secretary. From that time to the present day, Leader's Day has spread throughout the world, and it is actively celebrated in Europe, the USA, Australia, and Africa. In recent years, the celebration of the Leader's Day has received close attention in Russia, Ukraine, and Belarus.

As already mentioned, in Russia this date has recently been celebrated by almost every, albeit small, company, not to mention larger enterprises. What is supposed to be done on this day? Usually, employees-subordinates agree in advance on how the honoring of their superiors will take place. After all, no one really knows how a person lives.
