Maiter of domestic television

Vladimir Molchanov, although he belongs to the Soviet TV journalists, today he isstill remains in demand. In 1987, in January, he came to work at the editorial office of the television program "Vremya", in March of the same year, his informational and musical program "Before and after midnight" went on the air. It was she who became one of the most popular in the era of "perestroika". Thanks to this program, Vladimir Molchanov received an award from the Union of Journalists of the Soviet Union. For 4 years he continued to work on television, even became a political observer. Molchanov was the host of several programs at the same time: “Before and after midnight”, “Time”, “90 minutes”. In 1991, on his own initiative, he left the USSR State Radio and Television and decided to become an independent journalist. Until 2000, Molchanov worked in one of the private companies of the REN-TV channel, he managed to revive the weekly program “Before and After”, in addition, he worked on the creation of the program “I Remember … I Love …”, which was dedicated to the memory of famous composers of the Soviet era. In September of this year, the author's new program “And Longer than a Century” goes on the air; it was focused on holding meetings with outstanding contemporaries. In December 2003, Molchanov became the host of the daily talk show Private Life. Molchanov's wife, Consuelo Segura, has become the chief editor of her husband's films and programs in recent years.

Dangerous profession

At the end of 1987, a new journalist, Vladislav Nikolaevich Listyev, appeared on television. His career began with the host of the Vzglyad program, in the creation of which the Youth Edition of the Central Television took part.

At that time, this project was considered something unique. The program aired everyFriday, gathering millions of people at the TV screens, because they finally had the opportunity to get answers to important and topical questions that excited the entire Soviet society at that time. The Vzglyad program said that it was not customary to speak. This is what became the fundamental difference from other journalists of the USSR. Whatever topics were discussed here: problems of politics, religion, attitudes towards capitalist countries, as well as the topic of modern music and even sex.

For this reason, in the late 80s, the program acquired a cult status. Such success prompted Vlad Listyev and some of his associates to found the VID television company, which created programs for Channel One, later renamed ORT. Since 1990, the independent activity of the company begins, in 1993 Vlad Listyev became its president. However, such success led to a behind-the-scenes struggle, and eventually to the resignation of the leader.

Vlad Listyev's desire to make the world a better place was the cause of his death. Every year he gained more and more detractors.

On March 1, 1995, journalist Vladislav Nikolaevich Listyev was shot dead. It happened in the entrance of his own house. Neither customers nor performers have been found so far. It turns out that well-known Russian journalists constantly expose themselves, and possibly the whole family, to a huge risk.

A journalist with a capital letter

The career of another well-known journalist - Vladimir Pozner - begins with work in the informationNovosti agency, at that moment the company needed writing people who knew foreign languages well. Initially, he was a senior editor, and in the 70s he became a commentator at the State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company. In the 1990s, Posner was a TV presenter of many TV bridges that are popular today, at that time it was a completely new form of broadcasting. It's no surprise that this journalist's programs drew millions of viewers on television on Sunday evenings.

When perestroika ended, Pozner Vladimir Vladimirovich emigrated to America, where he became an independent journalist. After 6 years, he returned to Russia again and launched several rating projects, the main issue of which was political problems. The most famous of them are "The Man in the Mask" and "Time and Us".

Vladimir Vladimirovich wanted to share the secrets of his profession, so he started organizing a special school for TV journalists, for some time he even presented TEFI awards to the best students.

Vladimir Solovyov is a well-known journalist, author and host of popular TV programs. His work on television began in 1999. Many are familiar with the programs with his participation: "Trial", "Passion for Soloviev", "Look who came", as well as "Nightingale Night", "Duel" and "Orange Juice".

The top five journalists of 2013, in addition to Pavel Gusev, editor-in-chief of the Moskovsky Komsomolets newspaper, also included Ksenia Sobchak, Alexei Venediktov, TV journalist Nikolai Svanidze and Vladimir Pozner.
