After demobilization, the young and ambitious Sergei decided to enter a more prestigious university - the Red Banner Military Institute, which was under the auspices of the Ministry of Defense. Shishkarev easily passed the entrance exams and was enrolled in the list of students of the Faculty of Western Languages. The student immediately showed his best side, having established himself among teachers and classmates as a diligent, competent and principled young man.

In 1992, the future politician Sergei Shishkarev became the best graduate of the VKI of the Ministry of Defense. The certified military translator-referent of Portuguese and Hungarian was very proud of his first major achievement in his life.

At the same time, Shishkarev also managed to achieve success in his military career - he retired with the rank of colonel.

Business project "Delo"

In 1993, the future successful Russian businessman Sergei Nikolaevich Shishkarev organized his own smallbusiness called Delo. It was a forwarding company operating in the port of Novorossiysk. Subsequently, this company has grown into a group of companies "Delo". Today it is one of the largest transport and logistics holdings in Russia.

Political career

In 1999, a businessman connected his fate with politics. Sergey Shishkarev became a member of the Board of Directors of the Novorossiysk ICC.

In the same year, on December 19, he was first elected to the State Duma of the Russian Federation, in which he retained membership until 2011, having served three convocations. Shishkarev's political career developed very rapidly. In the very first year of his membership in the State Duma, he became deputy chairman of the Committee on International Affairs.

Thanks to his military-philological education, Sergei Nikolayevich regularly represented Russia as part of the FSRF delegation to the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, de alt with EU enlargement issues.
